Maalik and Johntay

I would like to see a red zone package for Arch. We are to the point now, where we have as good a chance to turn it over as put up 6. Arch has feet as a weapon, he can throw from rollout or tuck it and find the end zone. He has the IQ required to handle red zone.

HTB,

I disagree depending on where we are in the red zone. Maalik is learning, but at 6'5" 225+, I prefer the bulldozer type inside the 10. Plus, I fear running Arch and/or rolling him out (particularly right) increases his chance of injury.

The Horns can win out, but not with MM. How many turnovers is that in 2 games? He won’t tuck and run and that removes a large portion of any offense. He does not take care of the ball.
The original intent behind the topic was why #2 (MM favorite target in the spring) was not on the field when MM originally came in vs Houston. But now after a couple starts there is no excuse for not playing Arch.
MM has lot of flash, no doubt. But not worth the inconsistency in performance.
Even with the W today - the headline/poll is leading with 20 point giveaway Not good for CFP potential. Hopefully Quinn is ready very soon. Otherwise Sark is gonna get hammered when he loses with MM at this point of the season, and the remaining opponents.

That's inexperience. QE had his troubles too, last year.

But yes, Murphy almost cost us the game with the awful 2nd INT.
On the first INT, it was clear to me that throwing to Cook was the play call. Cook was guarded by 3 defenders - the ball would likely have been intercepted even if Cook did not fall down. Also, why trust a freshman WR in that case? Really poor judgement here. You call that play when the game is won in the 4th.
