Watch this total BS call on Rori.
ESPN has it as a highlight for a great LSU moment
You mean the team that lost to Baylor three times including one game where they only scored 35 points? That team? The one that went to the Elite 8?You dont remember Vic's first year here ? That had to be one of the worst shooting teams Ive ever seen.

I've been begging for that combination all season...21 for 21 is unreal. I love that combo, Rori, Preston, and Lee.

I was at the game and didn't realize how bogus it was until I saw that video. A lot of hands and arms tangling with each other as it was pretty frenetic. I thought the Kim-Mulkey effect on the refs was so obvious in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.Yeah, who in the heck can foul when their hands are on their chest?
The video shows Harmon didn’t foul with the body or Kate in the shooting motion….and my first reaction to the call was…..that’s crazy. Now go back and look very early in the LSU player’s “gathering to go up and shoot”…..Harmon reaches and hits the right elbow. I think it was a good call.Yeah, who in the heck can foul when their hands are on their chest?
Hornview…..I’m with you on that. Jones is punished but non-calls against Oldacre are almost criminal. One play against Carlton where she got hammered on the entire arm was a non-call. Her shot was blocked clean at the end but hammered early. They showed it plainly on replay. It was a war inside and hard to referee the level of athleticism and physicality we saw Sunday. Overall, I thought the refereeing was pretty good. When Horns have the two dominant power players on the court, then I’m always gonna whine for more interior calls. Remember the SC game where it was called so tight in first half that both coaches said “let em play”. I would rather it be called like LSU game than the first half of SC game. I love the refs. Hook ‘Em.If only they would call that when Taylor and Kyla shoot …
Perhaps I’ve got a huge bias….since I was a referee…..and trying to justify a fellow referee’s call. As typical of all referees…..I’ve got real poor eyesight….and your view is well taken.Watched it a dozen times. Still say there is no contact. I can see the moment you reference, but watch again when they repeat it… she doesn’t appear to make contact further evidenced by zero reaction from Johnson. Rori usually doesn’t react when she knows what she’s done. Was listening to the radio broadcast and the announcers went nuts over how bad it was…, and we all know Craig… he’s extremely level headedBut it is what it is. The ref had a better view I am sure and clearly agrees with your take.

Really agree with all your points! We have to remember Justice is not that far removed from a knee injury. She’s just scratching the surface and she’ll get a chance during the offseason to do some body transformation and work on her game. We know she can score and she definitely has great instincts on defense. She’s gonna be a great player!
Ok, now go watch Bryanna's layup to take the lead and explain why it wasn't an "and one" then. Because Poa initially raises up both arms then drags one down to clip her before she shot as well. If you're going to call Rori's foul then you have to call the Poa foul as well. The video shows Harmon didn’t foul with the body or Kate in the shooting motion….and my first reaction to the call was…..that’s crazy. Good gawd. How about a warning next time?Agreed

Live I thought she might have touched her (barely), but not enough for a foul. After reviewing it many times Rori never even touched her. I'll just have to agree to disagree with anyone that says it was a foul.Watched it a dozen times. Still say there is no contact.
