Longhorns in the Portal 2021

Johnson jumps to the top of the list of "guys with immediate eligibility not named Demas" for the highest rated uncommitted recruit in the portal. I thought he would be good for us.
 
It would be disappointing if he was one of a small number of highly rated offensive linemen who didn't pan out.

I call it very troubling because he is one among very many who haven't panned out in the last 12+ years. I truly hope Flood is the man to stem the tide.

He had similar comments about Sark
Coach Sark is the guy,” Imade wrote. “I believe it with all my heart. People go through growing pains in life, and this season was just one example and how close we are. “

And this is a guy who played for Charlie and Herman…
 
Herb Hand didn't have much to work with.

Two things that basically cratered our OL from about 2007-2021:
1. Mac McWhorter riding the success of one recruiting class and never repeating it.
2. Wickline's lawsuit-plagued hire and inability to nab recruits because of the negative recruiting other schools used against us.
