The fees were spent on a lot of post-election issues, not just the birth certificate or the eligibility question. Article quotes campaign stating one of the lawsuits was about eligibility. That Obama spent hundreds of thousands to "hide" his birthcertificate is completely manufactured.

What's funniest about this is reading birther attempts to suggest that this was not a significant issue to them.

Some of the comments over there are choice, though.
 
When I heard he'd finally released ,after 3 years of everyone from Hillary supporters to Chris Matthews and finally Trump calling on him ,I laughed and wondered what we'd see on it that Obama thought, 3 years ago, could cause him problems in the race for POTUS. For me there was no question he was born in Hi but I indeed thoght there was something on it he didn't want shown.
I saw nothing unusual.

But then DrFukino on CNN 2 weeks ago that the short form Obama released in 08 is all anyone gets. That should have been the end of it since why would She lie?
Of course now that he has released a long form we know she did lie. Why I don't have a clue.

This was so easy to do and there seems to be nothing on it he could have worried about in 08 Why did he wait?
But he released it and it is over. I was happy to see he could go on to more important things like fly off to be on Oprah.

I have never been compelled to call out anyone in a thread who has not posted in that thread. That is really sick and creepy. I think y'all need to get lives.
 
A little update, now that it is clear that Trump and the other Birthers were completely wrong. trump was interviewed by John King yesterday. He continues to try and BS his wayvaround being wrong. I have so little respect for this guy now. He just need to admit he was wrong , apologize for wasting everybody's time, and come up with specifics on other issues. Instead he lied about a CNN poll that doesn't exist and about the supposed team of investigators that nobody has seen.
 
I'm almost to the point of believing that one has to be familiar with the black experience in America to understand why the President resisted releasing what is now a decertified document to the media. It appears a good number of dominant culture types just don't get it.
