No question lunacy can find a happy home on both sides of the aisle. I'm not defending or justifying left wing lunacy.
 
This is pure speculation but, as Trump immediately jumped in to claim credit, does this strengthen his position as a candidate, atleast in the minds of some voters?

If so, could the Obama campaign see this as aiding his re-election, if it strengthens the position of someone they believe could not win a general election?

Trump forced Junior to release this latest attempt. Whether it is legit or not doesn't matter, Trump OWNS Junior now on this issue.

Trump and Junior both have also done everyone a favor by pushing this issue to the back burner where it deserves to continue simmering for a long while. Now we get to gnaw on the next item of defeat for Junior.

I'm a little surprised he did this. he should have let the Rs twist on this for a while longer. maybe they had some polling data that indicated they needed to get this behind them as well.

So...We go to the White House website and download a copy of the "long form" certificate and open it in Adobe illustrator. Sure as hell, this is correct, there are numerous digital sections of the document that can be moved about. Think I am full of it? Try it yourself, here' the link to the document:Long Form

Now I am not saying this is proof positive of fraud or anything like that, but couldn't Obama's people have been smart enough just to scan an image of the actual form so that the conspiracy theorists had no place to go?
 
I've never thought that the birther issue was THAT important in the grand scheme of things, but frankly, forgery is really not that hard.

This will probably not convince people who are really hard core doubters. Unless they get the original and carbon date it and do a full analysis of the document they wont be satisfied.

I have enough issues to not like Obama that it doesnt matter whether he is a citizen or not. Why it took so long to release this, and then to finally do it anyway.... I almost would have rather he didnt.
 
Carbon dating or some more accurate dating technique on the original document is a great idea. I wonder if the various inks can be dated and traced as well. Check for DNA around the signatures and match with known separate DNA samples of the signatories.

I read some comments over at MSNBC and the Obama supporters over there seem hysterical in their condemnation of Trump. I am surprised, I would have figured the Obama faithful would have heaved a big sigh of relief that Obama finally produced a visual, even if highly questionable.

Really, next Obama must produce an uniterrupted video showing a walk in from street signs and curb to a close up of the source document in the building archive using a 10 megapixel plus video camera. Two years of obfuscatory naughtiness on his part demands a really, really extra special vetting.
 
BC or no BC he is still a sorry prez and has horid policies he wants to push down our throat. I don't like bho because of his policies and he wants to raise taxes, hurt small biz, drive up the price of gas and is out and out bad for the economy.

If you think this changes the minds of republicans who have doubts that Obama was born in Hawaii then you are delusional. I would bet a poll done in April of 2012 on the question of obama's citizenship won't look all that different than a poll that was done earlier this month.

People's minds are made up. There was ample evidence before and their minds were already made up. This won't change anything.

If anything, the continued high numbers of likely GOP voters who believe all this birther nonsense will look even more silly now. Hard to believe they could look even more silly, I know.

You think Orly Tatiz is going to close up shop or something now that the long form has been released?
 
what was his thesis on? why did he spend hundreds of thousands to defend/hide this? release any and all his records....it should be mandatory for all in public office.

the "most transparent" president does what he does best...all talk....I see his lips moving but just watch his feet.
