Dusty, who said anything about a street agent? I said Mack knows something about recruiting kids and running a clean program. That has come via years of experience, and I am sure is based on best judgement.

If Mack Brown said pass, it was based on that experience, which probably means on average it is undisputedly the right decision. We've seen it time and time again. He's very seldom wrong.

Everyone at the time. Citing “clean program” regarding LS was code to me for street agent.

The jury hasn’t begun it’s deliberations regarding the wisdom of MB passing on LS, although wisdom was in very short supply this last year. Only LS knows what might have been if MB hadn’t vetoed him. LS choice of Chip Kelly and Oregon is looking damn solid and a positive reflection on the kid, which was also in short supply here 9 months ago.
