Lache Seastrunk

Unlike RP, Scott, & others Seastrunk, Jeffcoat and Hicks so far have handled everything with class and no matter who they choose I wish them the best. Of course the exception is that if they don't choose Texas then I can only wish them the best as long as it does not adversely affects UT.

Bill, I wish them the best also, but one of them has not handled this process well. I think you know which one I am referring too.

OK, so he had his choice of Texas, USC, Auburn, etc.

And he chooses OREGON?

I guess the blue front-white back pants weren't enough for him. The kid clearly has a fetish for ugly uniforms.

He would not survive the physical pounding of the SEC. He is not at a hated rival school. He is playing in a conference where a finesse player can be showcased. He is going to a school where sucker punching, angry tirades towards fans and laptop theft are no big deal.
Best of luck Duck.

This sits well with me, he is out of the conference and he is not a full time RB. We told him "no dice" back in the summer from what I heard. He is not as durable as our Monroe, but he could have more speed. So I like our chances with M. Brown, H. Sims and A.Green in the next class. Fits our RB needs better than Lache, he would have been a wingback for us and I do not think he would have been anywhere near as good as the great and magical Quan was.

He may have had a choice of Ausburn or usc, but my understanding is he no longer had the choice of Texas on the table. I won't go into details, but my source is solid. I have said this for months now.

Good luck Lache. The pac10 will be the type of league to showcase the skills he has the potential to bring to Oregon.

Oregon is telling Texas kids that they intend to make Texas a battleground state, and that they are going to make a big push to come in here and cherry pick top tier talent a la Notre Dame and Miami of the 80s and 90s.

I disagree on several points (although, not about the OL, either the scheme or the techniques -both obviously suck, but should be fixable with the personnel we have).

"Major Applewhite is the same running backs coach Mack’s been consistently vetoing when it comes to personnel recommendations. Christine Michael, Lache Seastrunk, Brandon Williams all were smacked down by the head man as if Applewhite was some freckled-faced ball boy."

So there it is. Lache’s got himself a sideline spot to watch a National Championship and a bright future in Chip Kelly’s offense next season.

^^^^^^

Right, because Mack would never make decisions about recruiting that might get past a 32 year old, ambitious coach.

As we all know, Mack has one known weakness...his inability to have much success recruiting and building/maintaining clean program. It has been a sore, sore spot throughout his whole career.

So Major would have made a deal with a "street agent" and Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year Award recipient Chip Kelly, uh...

did.
