L O S T: Season 4 Finale

Well they did say Locke said alot went wrong on the island, so maybe in that span of 3 years in which the Oceanic 6 were off the island, maybe Locke used the wheel to move the island again, and he got ported off, and then died ... but then again, Ben told Jack that he had to take Locke with him to the island, so that might throw that theory out, because Ben said if you turn the wheel, you can never go back.

I agree on not trusting Ben. We know he's lied to Sayid about a number of things: how he got off the island, the circumstances of his wife's death (I'm pretty sure he's lying about this).

But, if he knows he can't go back, why try?

It wasn't a "Claire-ghost". It was Kate having a dream about it. Don't you remember that after that she actually wakes up?

Small coffin for Locke. Legs severed?

Why couldnt they just pull the wire out of each piece of C4? or cut them at the charge? or toss the whole thing overboard?

The Penny-Desmond relationship evokes the most emotion in me.

If Red was once Ben's little friend, she would have recognized him long before. No sign of that, or of Ben recognizing her (and he did have her bio memorized).

Kate's sleeping attire sits well with me.

The easiest solution to the boat bomb problem was simply to get the hell off the boat the instant they saw the C4.

I have no answers either, but there is still the BIG issue, at least as I see it, as to who Jacob is and where he went. Why are Christian and Claire at the shack instead of Jacob? How are Christian and Jacob connected? Any ideas? I confess I have none.

Also, there are many philosophers.. here are some.... (John) Locke, Jeremy Bentham, (Danielle) Rousseau, Karl (Marx), Edmund Burke, (Desmond) Hume, Mikhail Bakunin, (Boone) Carlyle, Anthony Cooper, Hugo (Degroot)

That is a GREAT number... I know it has been discussed elsewhere, does anyone here think that this is going to play a part in the explaination of the show as it plays out?

Wow. Amazing finale!

It's going to be a long, long wait

Anybody else think that in the past Dharma/Others might have used the polar bears to move the island? The bears would certainly be okay in that environment, and I seem to recall that the bear Charlotte found in Tunisia had a harness on it that could be attached to the wheel, similar to a horse mill?

As for why he as going by Bentham, I'd guess it's related to the lie that the 6 told about everyone else dying. If John Locke popped up, people would start asking questions.

Did anyone see these alternate endings??
The Link

Dead Sawyer would have been an interesting twist but I don't see how a dead Desmond would have been of great relevance to the rest of the show.

I wonder if there's anything to the fact that Desmond's vision of Claire and Aaron getting on the helicopter never happened?
