The face-off between the survivors and the freighter people continues, and the Oceanic Six find themselves closer to rescue, on the two-hour Season Finale!

Well guys, here we go! Last episode airs at 7 and then two hour finale starts at 8. If it's even half as good as last season's finale we are in for a treat.

Edit: The encore episode has bonus footage not shown last time so it will be worth checking out again.

Holy crap. Didn't expect him in the casket. But not gonna say who it is because I don't want to ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS>>>>>

So we have not only the time/space theories out there, but now we have an ever increasing string of philosophers names........ We also seem to have a long list of Biblical names..... although that seems less 'put together'

that's some good tv right there.

I taped it since I work late. After hearing the name Bentham, I knew I'd heard it before and plugged it into Lostpedia to see who it is. Well, it went straight to you know who.

Spoiler Questions

How did "Bentham" die? Do Aaron and Desmond have to go back, too? Are Faraday and the others on the zodiac in sync with the island, those on the helicopter, or neither, in which case, where/when are they? Is Claire dead, and if so, how did she die? If not, how is she talking to Kate like a ghost? And why can't Shannon come back as a ghost and get naked and do a dance?

Another spoiler alert...

So if Ben knew things would go haywire after the 6 left, why did he give up the helecopter so quickly for them to leave. Did he not think they would actually make it? Or maybe he killed the commando for that exact reason, to blow the boat and make sure they didn't leave. ...I wasn't that shocked that it was Locke in the box, but I was very surprised that Jack actually engineered the whole back story on his own.

It's gonna be a LONG off-season (I sound like I did after the Holiday Bowl!)

Speaking of Penny, is it good news or bad news for the Losties that Penny is the one that found them. She is Widmore's daughter and Widmore tried to kill them.

SPOILER ALERT

My memory is shaky but, from what I remember from UT, wasn't Jeremy Bentham, along with John Stuart Mill, one of the key proponents of Utilitarianism and something about the Greater Good... that is, you sacrifice a few people for the greater good? Would seem to make sense here.

BTW - When Ben approached Jack at the funeral home, he looked like Dracula.

Sun's conversation w/ Whidmore led me to believe that Whidmore had spent time on the island as well...did I "mis-remember" this from last night?

The episode a few back where Ben landed in the desert with the parka on, that must have been where he landed after he moved the island.

Crazy assed theory...

Claire is dead. Claire was mortally wounded when keamy blew up her house. After Sawyer had rescued her, and brought her back to Ben's house she said she'd needed to lay down and she would be alright... and Miles makes a snarky comment about "I wouldn't be so sure about that". The perception at the time was Miles was talking about Keamy outside the door... but what if he wasn't? What if Miles with his spidey sense knew she was dying. What if what came out of that room wasn't corporal Claire, but dead Island-Claire? Claire sticks with the group until Christian catches up with her and tells her that she is dead? Maybe it isn't quite that complicated, and she dies the night Christian came to her... but strangely the weird version seems to line up with the facts better.

trueut, I agree. When he appeared in the dessert he was weearing the same parka and his arm was cut. That must have been a direct jump for him. Which he missed at least 6 months or so, since he makes it to tunisia to see Sayid at the funeral.

I liked the way they introduced man walt back into the story, flash forwards can really help with that.

Question: obviously Ben warped to the desert when he turned the wheel but i can't remember what the date was when he warped, didnt he go into the future at that time?

Man this show is awesome
