When Jack's health is seriously compromised, Kate and Juliet must learn to work together in order to save him.

From the previews looks like another survivor is going to die tonight. Claire maybe?
 
i dont think claire is going to die...she survived a missile hitting her house....i think she is kind of like lock and cant die...she is the only woman to survive childbirth on the island.
 
If I was Jack, I'd "seriously compromise" my health and try to get Kate & Juliet into a threesome with me "before I die."

ok, is christian shepard real or not? the "hallucinations" are becoming more complex -- jack has heard him speak now, claire has seen him physically holding her baby. vincent has seen him too, i guess.
 
so i posted that before miles' acknowledgement...im pretty firmly on the "alive" fence now i guess. though there's certainly something odd about his ability to seemingly appear and disappear at will. and his place in all this mess.

was that jacob in the previews?
 
Time and space are irrelevant. Its pretty clear Charlie is really appearing to Hurley, so it stands to reason that Christian is appearing to Jack and Claire. They could just be the island using their form to send a message, too. It kind of pisses me off because they said they were gonna have a scientific reason for everything, and they seem to be getting more and more supernatural.
 
Does nobody else think this was somewhat of a filler episode? There was no real reveal except for the Kate/Jack thing, and I called that when he saw the panties on the floor.
Way too much time spent on a ******** surgery. And there was no reason for Jack to be awake for that except to drag Kate in there and set the tone for the fact that they were in love with each other.

Chinaman now has ESP? Meh! I could've smelled those nasty bodies from a mile away. A very unblievable scene to say the least.

I hate to say, but the show is starting to bring in too many supernatural events. Time travel in a neat concept, but now 6th sense? Are all the losties gonna see dead people now? Is Ben Sayid's dead person?

Don't get me wrong, I love the show, but this episode didn't WOW!! me
 
Anyone find it weird that Claire called the hallucination, whom I beleive was Jack's father, "Dad"? I was like, "wtf, Jack and Claire are siblings?! .... they could be half brother/sister!

I also wondered how those mercenaries are still alive. That smoke monster made quick work of the pilot and Mister Ecko, how are all those ******** still alive?

this did feel like a filler episode
 
Claire saw her dad when her mom was in the hospital.

Claire was looking incredibly hot in that episode, btw. I think that's why I remember it so clearly...
 
I'm thinking this is the beginning of jacks meltdown. Starting to see his dad and pop pills.
I think Kate was referring to Jack coming to see aaron . At the trial he said he didn't want to, that is what she means by changing his mind
 
So where was Kate going behind Jack's back? Something to do with Sawyer but I didn't catch it.

Was wondering why Jack insisted that Kate be at the surgery. Did he not trust Juliet? And how did he get sick on the island where no one gets sick?
 
Brak, they never said what she was doing for Sawyer. Hehe when she said that, the first thing I thought was that she was talking about Ben.

The whole point of this episode was to show Jack starting to come off the rails, same old issues of suspicion and alcohol, combined with the visitor he's about to get.

I'm curious too whether Jack knows yet that he's related to Aaron, I don't think he does. At this point Claire knows who the father is, but I don't think she and Jack have compared notes enough yet to make that call. They may have done so at some point between present story and future story.

Definitely not a filler story - maybe more of a stage-setting story.
