So both Tumis and Boehm are probably available tomorrow for an inning or two each (I think). I'd look for Fontenot to be the first out of the bullpen tomorrow.

Grubbs gets lots of ground balls (sinker/slider pitcher), so this may be a good opponent and stadium for him relative to our other pitchers. We'll need Grubbs' game to be on tomorrow. All he has to do is hold them to around 6-7 runs.

Not really sure what to say about this team at this point. It’s just tough baseball to watch. They sit at 5-3 in conference and absolutely must get the win tomorrow to take the series because absent winning the Big XII I am not sure how this team has a chance of making the tournament.
 
Wow, we ended up winning with three touchdowns. Congratulations, I think.

It feels a lot like that time i met up with a Tijuana hooker, it got the job done but it’s no way to live. (my own “hangover” night without the chickens and stolen lion)
Wonder if the team feels the same way?
 
A slow pitch softball victory for the Horns tonight.

Drink a few pitchers at the Posse East and then roll over to the intramural softball fields for our midweek game…those were the days

Maybe this will motivate and inspire our lads to crush the mildcats on Sat.

I can actually see us winning the weak-*** Big 12 this season, but I’m dreading SEC baseball next year. Something needs to change

Pierce has got to do better in the portal, and of course these days that means that NIL $'s gotta be there. LSU paid for their team last year, they did not get all those guys (especially Skenes) because they are LSU, that's the new landscape. Pay up or don't compete, you already see it in football.
 
What offensive fireworks that was last night. I got home from work in the 8th inning and they just went nuts. Offensively this team is feast or famine.

top of the first. We loaded up the bases and couldn’t bring any runs in.

Bottom of the first. Grubbs works his way out of trouble. No runs.
 
Top of the second. Nothing doing. Thomas K to end it

0-0. To the bottom of the second.

Grubbs had a few low strikes called balls. That’s not good.
 
Bottom of the 2nd

Bunt to Powell. Can’t make the play. Really good bunt. Lead off runner on first for the Cats.
