Watching replay on LHN.

The 4th and 2 in the 3rd quarter. This play alone may change my take on the rest of the season. I missed it on Saturday night. Not the snappy pass, great grab and making 2 defenders whiff.

No, it was when the cameras showed Ehlinger and then Duvernay after the touchdown. Business-like. Stoic expressions. Not dancing around like a bunch of Kansas City....,er, well, I digress....

What does this show me? They expect to score and make plays. I'm sure I knew that, but, man, the looks those guys had said a lot.

That play was nothing short of a miracle by Burrow. From here it looks like a good play call to blitz, that came up just inches short of working. This video shows it from the end zone in slow motion (I realize some of you don't want to see it again, but for those that are interested, considering this thread still has life):

Skip to about the 50 second mark if you don't want to listen to the introductory spiel. The RB #22 picks up the blitzing LB just enough (and he had whiffed a few times earlier in the game on blitz pickups) to give Burrow room to get skinny and sneak up in the pocket, but even so he's falling left avoiding guys as he throws up a weak pass.

Also doesn't look to me that Sterns missed a tackle. He was just in a tough spot trying to cover a #1 WR who got several steps on him before he caught the ball. Not much that taking a better angle would have done to help him.

It was just oh-so-close to being a great call by Orlando. Easy for me to say but LSU rolled 7's to get that result given the blitz.

Incredible play by Burrow.

I read on some thread, maybe this one, that Burrow is a douche. I said that he looked arrogant on the sideline. However, just watching the replay on LHN, both he and Orgeron seemed classy and complimentary of Texas in their post-game remarks.

I rewatched the dropped pass by Ingram. Sam put enough air under the ball that Ingram had plenty of time to adjust to the throw. It was clearly a drop. At most 5% blame on Sam.

On the positive side, Jake made a fantastic grab for TD to offset the drop from last week. Let’s hope Ingram responds similarly.

Your view of that play is tainted.

Yes, he and coach O played nice when the national camera was on them. I saw plenty of Burrows arrogantly gesturing and mocking our crowd. Sorry, but I saw no class or sportsmanship. I said in a previous post he was a prick and I stand by that.

Anyone disagree? Ask yourself if Sam would act that way toward another team / fans?

WM, just reporting what I saw in the interview. That's too bad he acted like that. He played at tOSU, though, so I guess it isn't surprising. Douchebags seem to be the norm from there.

You have been polite and welcome.
Too bad the majority of your people have been vile and classless. Who threatens an opposing coach s family?
Whose fans send thousands of vile calls and texts?
Whose head coach LIES about no a.c.?
We Texas fans were willing to salute for the better game
And to wish you to win out.
The crap lies and bs from your fans and Head coach has cancelled any good will.

I appreciate your participation here @NorfolkVATiger and wish we had more of that with other fanbases. We are all homers of course but some are also capable of a little objectivity from time to time! I would like to see LSU win out and mostly beat Bama in Tuscaloosa this year.

Thanks Dion. Hope you guys win out and take the Big 12 title this year. Will be watching the games.

Duvernay was a beast. I don't recall ever seeing Delpit miss a tackle (he must have, but it doesn't stand out), much less bounce off a guy more than once in a game. And I cringed every time Roschon was in the game. Ingram is a good back, but Roschon brings something else to the field - he's only going to get better as the season goes on. I think you guys are going to give the rest of the B12 fits this year.

Delpit tried to tackle Duvernay in the flat about 3 yards behind LOS. Duvernay broke tackle, tapped dance over him and made 3-4 yards.

Twice. Once around mid field and again down around the ten yard line. The first was the example I used of more of an oops by Delpit vs a great play by Duvernay according to the commentators.

It is a time honored tradition at LSU to discover the opposing QB’s phone number and call and text him leading up to the game. I remember sending Tebow a text or two. Y’all seem to be offended the most by it.
Most LSU fans are a good people, although we do like to talk a little ****. It’s just who we are. We don’t mean any harm.
Finally I’ve seen from more than 5 people that the air conditioning was not operating properly or was turned off. One of these people also happens to be my cousin on the La Tech staff and said it was a relief to walk out of the locker room and back onto the field after halftime because the locker room was hot and the field didn’t feel so bad after the sun had started going down.
Take it as you will.

Unfortunately, your last paragraph ruined your message. The AC was on for both teams as evidenced by no complaints from anyone before they left Austin. If LaTech had an issue (which their coach said they did not) the issue would have been rectified by Wednesday of last week. Even if they go out on game day there are other locker rooms that can be used. The LaTech coach told Coach O to bring LSU's on-field fans and misters per the college custom (they just throw them in the truck). The no AC and the position of the band talk is nothing more than cover for when Texas plays in Baton Rouge with the band way up in the sky and no AC in the locker room all as per $EC expectations.

Since I did not have the 40 times to play D1 Football I have not been in either locker room. Buuut, the concession areas and bathrooms at DKR were hot as hell at halftime and before the game. No ventilation or AC down there.

But AC all you were was a paying customer!

Are you serious? It is not a domed stadium. OF COURSE those areas were hot. They were in the open.

not sure about grossman but I do know the other four all lost to LSU in their games.

as for the cramps/injuries in the game. Three players that left the game injured will not be playing this Saturday. I guess maybe they were actually hurt.

So 1 LSU fan finally admits the other 10, all of offense, were not hurt!
