The hammer is coming. Just getting their ducks lined up as the Dems will surely go apeshit. Trump made a comment about Kavanaugh this morning, Cocaine Mitch is getting riled up. Going to be Hammer time !!!
 
Saw on Twitter that Jimmy Kimmel "jokingly" suggested cutting off Brett Kavanaugh's penis if he is confirmed, as a compromise.

Those Lefty comics like Jimmy, Kathy Griffin, and Michelle Wolfe are a barrel of laughs aren't they?

I'm all for playing nice when people are acting in good faith, but there have to be limits. When they decided to delay the committee vote to let Ford tell her story, I didn't have a big problem with it. Once she started putting a mess of demands on how the hearing would be conducted, I got suspicious. Once I found out that one of those demands was that she only be questioned by senators rather than by female attorneys, that showed me that she was only interested in helping promote the Democrats' political objectives. Seriously, what female sexual assault victim prefers to be questioned by a bunch of dudes instead of by women? I've literally never heard of such a thing. And of course with the media driving the idea that he's guilty basically because he's a man, I'm pretty much civics convinced that a good curb stomping is in order.

I've heard some suggest that the FBI bluff should be called, but that won't end it. Democrats will demonize the FBI's findings, especially if the lead investigator is a man. Keep in mind that the FBI investigated Anita Hill's allegations and found no wrongdoing, but the Left still whines that he is guilty. It won't make a difference here.

Trending towards being true. CPL could lose his law license over this. According to 4chan, burner phones and a stripper GF were involved. Nobel prize for this guy.
 
I am not sure that either of these accusers will be willing to go under oath with their claims, but in case they are willing, the Senate is bringing in a outside female prosecutor for that role. They are already taking heat for this but it was their only choice in this climate -- the optics would otherwise have been impossible.

At this point, she'd be stupid to show up. All the holes in her story will be highlighted and made obvious, and there will be opportunities for the GOP to shift the narrative. If she doesn't show up, she and Senate Democrats can ***** that the process wasn't fair. I think it's a step backwards, but it's better than being humiliated by having her whole story ripped apart.

Kavanaugh telling the world that he was a virgin in HS and college took a lot of wind out their sails. That would be a hell of a risky lie to throw out in public. If he was the party animal / sexual predator described by Ford then it is completely inconsistent with someone who abstained from sex until he an adult. Truly shameful that he had to even disclose that detail.

I'm not sure this is that helpful. Obviously, there's no way to prove he was a virgin. Futhermore, what's a virgin? If you get a chick to blow you under a desk, can you be a virgin? Obviously Bill Clinton would say yes. Finally, one can be a virgin and still sexually assault someone. It's not likely, but obviously the media and the Democrats are denying Kavanaugh every benefit of the doubt.
 


Notice the purely dishonest wording. She could have said "for republicans to schedule a vote on Friday, two days before..." She doesn't. She deliberately words her statement to make it seem at a glance that the vote is happening two days before testimony.

And then she adds "Now they don't even need to hear her before they move ahead with a vote" - and by "move ahead" here, she means "schedule. But she wants it to SOUND like they're going to vote without hearing testimony.

This is called "I have absolutely nothing to object to about this other than that I want to throw a fit. So I'm going to see just how stupid my base is and see if I can start a riot or something."

It certainly will not persuade any Leftists who simply want Kavanaugh disqualified at any cost. But I would think this factors into the calculus for a reasonable independent. The accusation just seems more and more ridiculous every day.

I am to the point of thinking that Ford has some serious mental issues. I don't think she wants to testify because it will be obvious how mentally unstable she is. She will find any excuse not to show up. Let's see.
 
The vote on Friday is also for Jonathan A. Kobes to 8th CC. He must be thinking that he is the luckiest guy in the world. Dems have been to busy with Kavanaugh to try and dig up (or just make up) any dirt on him.
 
I heard that one of the local San Antonio stations, KSAT, ran a hit piece yesterday comparing Kavanaugh to Bill Cosby. It showed Cosby being led away in 'cuffs and then showed Kavanaugh's face. A CNN guest reportedly made a similar analogy.

Apparently the Left thinks that unproven accusations are the same as being tried and convicted.
