I think the recruits pick Kansas because Wilt the stilt played there.

Wilt the stilt may be a factor, but I think it's primarily due to the waving of the wheat.

Hey, blue is a good color, so I wouldn't blame the NCAA officials for choosing it.

Anyway, here's some other useless theory* about the tournament: Why did both UCLA and UNC lose? Both teams have not played in the Lone Star State in a while. You have to look past their 2006-07 records to see when they both last played in TEXAS. (see UCLA records and UNC records) Before the tournament, KU last played in Texas at A&M on March 8th, and Memphis played SMU on March 5th. I say KU wins the title since they have been in the state most recently.

*This theory only applies to this year's tournament and may become invalid.
