I think I saw something about that last night while I was half asleep and flipping channels. A GOP senator was saying the news will be out soon, don't remember which senator. The interviewer asked if it would be in a couple of days and he said no. Sure better be before the election.

Now that the DNC and debates are over (presumably), I will lay my cards on the table:
1. Harris is in an impossible position. She is basically replacing an unpopular president who has a 43% approval rating.
2. Biden was replaced with Harris to help down ticket races. Harris should focus on that. If she really believes she can win she is more stupid than I can ever imagine.
3. She would paradoxically have a better chance of winning if she just runs the campaign for maximum enjoyment instead of actually straining to win the race. She should be getting all the sex and booze that one can get away with during a presidential campaign.
4. Like all DEI workers, she is incapable of seeing the big picture and just makes things worse.
5. In the end, not only is she going to lose, but she is going to make it worse for down ticket races.

Maybe, just maybe, the dumbocrat party will have such an atrocious experience with their DEI hire that they will actually turn away from DEI in principle.
And she managed to spout off a lot of words that gave no substantive response to the question. She still won't make a policy statement - she can't afford to do so. A "centrist" policy statement would rile up the liberals in her party, and a "liberal" policy statement would rile up the Independents she needs to have a chance to win.
I read that they already have. It will be more apparent in the next 4 years. We will see.
Follow-up: Dems are not stupid. Their voters are stupid but not the ones in power. As soon as DEI stops working (as already discovered in corporate world) they will drop it fast.
