Indeed, and well-stated. That's her "inadvertent humor" I was getting at. People are sort of both laughing with her and at her.

There's a certain personality type (we've all known some of them) that just thinks everything is funny. That's Kamala.

Either that or she's incredibly nervous, almost all of the time, and it's nervous laughter--a coping mechanism. Add in her normal state of around 0.05 to 0.15 blood alcohol concentration and she's a real gigglewort.
