Kamala = always gracious going down (in defeat that is...)

Why is Kamala waiting so long to name her VP?
I think it's for another "honeymoon" bump.
She is going to ride this one out until it begins to fade, and then announce.
Then there will be the DNC bump.
I just had this thought, probably everyone else had it as soon as she was named, but this is really bad.

It is surreal to me that a mere 2 weeks ago, the RNC had an awesome convention, lots of positive momentum, and, for me at least, a pretty optimistic feeling. (the red wave debacle taught me to never get my hopes up too high in an election, lol)

I am not seeing the anointed one lose her selection bump yet.
Who knows how long it will last.
But with 2 bumps left, and basically 3 months, she could be riding them all the way up to the election.

Meanwhile, Trump is acting like a dumb *** and arguing with his own party in a key state. He insulted the Governor's wife. Well, at least Georgia isn't important.
Then, he called Putin to thank him for releasing the hostages? Gee, it's like he hasn't had sketchy, reported by the media, issues with the Russians.
What an idiotic thing to do.

Someone needs to grab Trump by somewhere extremely painful, and tell him to get his *** on track.
Who is that person? Who can slap him into the reality that's happening? Ivanka? Who does the man listen to and respect? Anyone? Or, does is his hubris run such that he thinks he is always right, and needs no help.
Here is what I would advise: IF you are going to attack, attack things that matter! Policies, and the people who made them. Not what race they are...are you that clueless, or do you just not care?

This is still his election to lose, but he must have some great moments. Great speeches about the things Americans care about. And, start going back to places Republicans have never gone again. People loved that. And if the blacks in the barbershop are mad, explain things to them. Talk to the people about them, and what you will do for them.
Point out that Kamala isn't talking AT ALL. Who knows what she stands for? No one. All we know is what the media feeds us.

If he thinks insults, negativity, and name calling are going to win this election, he is wrong. Stop acting scared, and have some fun again. Talk tough, but be loose and confident.
To me, losing any election to a person such as Kamala Harris would be one of the worst embarrassments I could think of. Can you imagine losing to someone so incredibly clueless, so unprepared, so UN-Presidential?

Also, I'm sorry I keep ranting about the same thing on this sight.
Aside from that, I believe our very country is at stake, and I love this country. If she wins, it will be ruined.

The economy and markets are tanking. In 3 months Kamala will be losing bad. Market futures are down 2 percent. Going to be a wild week.

Asian markets (where it's morning/afternoon) are crashing.

I dread to see what ours looks like when I wake up in the morning.

She's not going to debate and why should she? I've posted before that she can't win, but Trump can lose, and appears to be doing a damn good job of it. It is hard to believe that with 320 million people, two so unlikable, unqualified people are our choices.

I shudder to think where we would be if today's media had been around in the 50s digging into the real estate deals, construction contracts, etc of NASA. Were they really that bad? Who got hurt?

I'm old and have apologized to both my grandchildren for the mess my generation is leaving them.

VP announcement expected today.

How about......

Michele Obama!!!
:oops::oops::oops::oops::oops:

It's hard to imagine how it could get any better than a Kamala Harris/Michele Obama ticket.

You may to consider switching to decaf:

WSJ stole your post:

Big plus if she picks Walz. He is as liberal as Gavin Newsom and a poorer communicator. And though he's sorta from a swing state, it's not like Pennsylvania. For the general election, Shapiro would be a much bigger benefit. But of course, he's Jewish and doesn't mollycoddle Hamas fans. Accordingly, he'd annoy the base.

According to Jamie Raskin, doesn’t matter if Trump gets more electoral votes. And to think they are running to save democracy.

I pray she picks him. Trump won't need MN if he wins Pennsylvania. He just needs to shut up about Kemp so he can win Georgia and hammer Biden/Harris policies on the border, inflation and the foreign disasters in the Middle East and Ukraine.

Walz it is. I think that's better than Shapiro because needs PA more than MN and Shapiro could turn too much of the Jewish pop. But Walz is a military man and that could hurt.

For me, the most troublesome part of this decision is that he is a compromise between the Obamas and the Clintons. I would have preferred one of their choices to keep them at each other's throat. If they are unified, and Trump keeps running his mouth like a twelve-year-old on the playground, we are in trouble.
