Kamala = always gracious going down (in defeat that is...)

Not so fast my friend. Rumors are circulating that she will be running for Governor of California at the first chance.

Newsome, are you going to go left of her to keep your job?
She might stand a better chance of being Mayor of Austin or replacing Lloyd Doggett.

SN,

Doggett was elected President of the student body in the late 60s. IIRC, there were about 40,000 students then and he got less than 300 votes. Nobody cared. Shortly thereafter, The University shut down student government.

Diane Swearingen was from San Antonio Lee HS, and was Miss Texas and Miss USA int he Miss Universe Pageant. She had the win in the bag and on the last question for the finalist, she was asked what one thing she would change about her school; she answered the apathy of the students, none of whom would vote. her score plummeted and she didn't win. (They showed the scores on TV throughout the competition)

Jennings would make a solid press secretary, but honestly, Trump should invite Kayleigh McEnany back. Nobody is better at it than she is.

I prefer Jennings to remain in place to bring some sanity to CNN. We have a real problem with CNN and MSNBC spreading unchallenged misinformation.

I assume this is a joke. If it's not, I expect to be nominated to the next vacancy. Though I didn't blow Willie Brown, I'm wildly more qualified than she is.

Some Dems are calling for Sotomayer to resign so Biden can replace with a Dem. Will be interesting to see if she does.

She hasn't been there that long and isn't that old. I'm not sure why she'd leave. And even if she did, Biden wouldn't choose someone as laughably unqualified as Harris. And I don't think Manchin, Sinema, and Fetterman would all vote to confirm anyone.

What I heard is there is no way she could retire, he could announce a replacement, and it could get done by the inauguration. May be the Rs would make it impossible like the Ds always try to do.

@Chop You really should remove the phrase "in flames" from the thread title. The shortened version would describe both her start in politics as well as her ending.

Man, I've got to figure out how to quote properly and "like" certain posts.
That being said, I'm trying to respond to Vol Horn's latest post. Earlier today, the dumb broads on The View were harping about misogyny when it came to the Hispanic vote - specifically, Hidalgo County. Problem is the same county voted 69% for Hillary in 2016. The county voted 75% for Trump this year. Every time a libtard throws out the homophobe, racist, misogyny line when it's not true, it just dilutes the premise. Kind of like when they tried to "Me too" Kavanaugh. Do they not realize by doing so they screw up those that actually have legit complaints?

Me too ensnared Kevin Spacey, Matt Lauer, Charlie Rose, Chris Matthew and Al Franken. What a boomerang.

He can quote, but can't use the like, agree, etc. emoticons. We get 3 options: report, quote, reply. Sloth, to just quote 1 post hit reply, not quote, and and insert your typing below the quote.
Or...just sponsor. :beertoast:

Hey by the way, have you noticed that since you and I stopped getting together to watch Texas games, they play much better now? :coolnana:
