Limiting illegal immigration of low skilled workers is the best policy to help these folks. What a moron."This is why a bipartisan [package] alone isn't acceptable," Ocasio-Cortez went on to say. "The exclusion & denial of our communities is what DC bipartisan deals require. That's how you get GOP on board: don't do much/any for the working class & low income, or women, or poc communities, or unions, etc. We must do more."
Where you kidding SH? Biden admitted he wasn’t signing this without the ‘extreme’ coming with it. This is nothing but a means for Romney et al, to say he got something, oh how hard he tried.
Roasted:
As far as I can tell, AOC has her own definition of compromise - "Be reasonable, do it my way."The world isn't black/white but rather gray which means that compromise is an essential component of our politics.

Just desserts, IMO. He may be in the throws of dementia, but he knows he could have not run. He did, so screw him now.hic
He is. But now he is in his own world forced to perform by his handlers. And he is not capable. What they are doing to our country is horrific and destructive.
People complained about Orange man bad who sent mean tweets but they sure couldn't complain about the good things he did for America including historic gains for Blacks and all minorities.
Actually, socialism and communism are evil. Those systems have killed a couple hundred million people. There is a reason conservatives fight against those failed ideas. The question is, why do libs support them given the massive evidence of their failure?I voted for Biden because he was more capable of compromise in the form of bi-partisanship vs. the more extremes of the D party that are not all too different than the Trump supporters in that they live in an all-or-nothing world where compromise is considered abhorrent because they are convinced the ideological opponent is evil. The world isn't black/white but rather gray which means that compromise is an essential component of our politics.

Unfortunately, the extremes of the Democratic Party view "compromise" as an evil to be avoided - it's "all-or-nothing" for them.I voted for Biden because he was more capable of compromise in the form of bi-partisanship vs. the more extremes of the D party
Bi-partisan infrastructure deal reached. Great. Screw the extremes.
Roasted:
Biden gets more pathetic every day.
Yesterday he said the reason "Latnix" aren't getting vaccinated is because they think if they get jabbed they will be deported.
I see where Bubba gets his theories.
Is that your opinion or did I miss a quote from Biden? The extreme left is up in arms. Infrastructure is an issue that Biden could hit down the middle without little fallout from the extremes, aside from their loud complaints. It's really the perfect issue to target a bi-partisan deal. Does that mean he won't continue to try to get a deal the left favors? No, thus the "reconciliation" process running in parallel. That's his bargaining chip to say to Republicans, if you back away from your commitments then I'll do it without you in a more extreme deal.
