Outstanding performance to continue the home dominance this year. The Horns really had to win this one given the stretch to finish, now get at least one of these last three and they are assured of a three seed and maybe even cling to a 2 seed, get two and they definitely sit on the 2 line, win all three and win Big XII regular season and I don't see how they aren't a one seed. Conversely if they lose all 3 and crash out of Big XII tourny in first game and I could see them falling to a 4 seed so there is still a lot to do and need finish strong.

One of my leaders at work is an ISU grad, he said Grill has had on-and-off back issues over the last month but there was a feeling that "Texas Goons with cheap shots" wouldn't have helped that sore back.

A 16 seed has beaten a 1 seed, but only once in the tourney's history. That factoid doesn't diminish your point though.
