Is BLM the Most Powerful Political Party in the Country?

The number one reason white men give for not getting involved in diversity and inclusion

"Researchers from the nonprofit think tank asked white, straight, cisgender men with white-collar jobs in the US about their views on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace."

I'm a half-Cuban, white male who likes hot women.

The reason I'm not that interested sometimes is because I don't want to be a Liberal. I'm not playing the game. To be pegged as cisgender is a label I reject completely. I'm not going into the box. So if you want me to support civil rights (WHICH I DO) then stop with the brain-washing Liberal HOGWASH. It's not good enough to preach kindness, civility and respect. Instead, you have to swallow the horse-pill of totalitarian "or else" and wear your sign so they can predict your movements and then counter them.
I'm surprised a large majority didn't answer, "because it's horse shat", which it is.

She and the docile white people are a disgrace to their respective races.
What has happened to people?

Aside. I like that people can be comfortable in their own skin but the way she was dressed to give what was supposed to be a professional presentation is just :puke:

From what I can tell, BLM promotes racism and segregation. Oh, and violence with looting. Someone prove me wrong.

Hopefully, the black McDonald's workers are able to satisfy the needs of the BLM movement and end their protests.

Jones is a salesman. I don't know if we're seeing true patriotism from him or a corporation trying to please as many people as possible.

My feeling ALL ALONG is that kneeling during the anthem is a stubborn tactical mistake. To force a decision between patriotism or #BLM is a choice that should not have been forced upon people. And to double down on it with the cancel zeitgeist is a civil rights foundation built on a sink hole. It conflated two emotional situations that should have been in congruence.

Honor the IDEA of America. Co-opt the flag as the icon of civil rights. Don't turn the anthem into a glorification of slavery by white people; instead, sing it loudly as a march towards equality. Sing it loudly as the symbol that America has the capacity to change and that the evidence is clear:

We have changed.

If you attack those who run counter to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; then attack them. Don't burn the flag. Wave it in their face. Show them the hypocrisy of their ways. Explain the words, "All men are created equal." Do not fall in the trap of rejecting something good (a standard) solely because of the weakness of mankind.

We are taught that we are all sinners and we know it to be true regardless of our religious beliefs. In the end, the praises of the flag and the anthem do not have to be about the glorification of all that is wrong. It is about the glorification of tomorrow and the chance to move closer to the ideal.

But to destroy the manuscript of the ideal is to say it is wrong on it's face. And we will never benefit if we cannot somehow honor that which binds us all together as Americans.

When I see the flag and hear the anthem I think of living here and the collective of our union. I think of all things and wonder how we strayed so far from such lofty words and dramatic pause to feel the emotion of our union.

The flag and the anthem is not the problem. A cop who murders a suspect is the problem. I have no problem demanding better of the police. No problem at all. I remember the movie Serpico. These things are real. All we need to do is recognize it and demand we do better.

But I don't want to have to make the choice between #BLM and our nation.

I CHOOSE BOTH.

In terms of his customers that is exactly what he should be doing.

Making a better product on the field is more important though in that effort.

When will all these huge US corporations quit discriminating against blacks and give them a job?

I work for a scientific/engineering oriented company. I guarantee you that a black person who is anywhere in the ballpark as far as meeting the requirements for an open position will be hired over similarly qualified white/Asian applicants. Lack of job opportunity doesn't appear to be the problem to me.

Sounds like RP was being sarcastic.

In the last 25 years of my corporate career, blacks were given preference in hiring and promotions if they had minimal qualifications. Many of those hired and promoted became huge liabilities because they had minimal or in some cases sub-minimal qualifications. Glad I no longer have to deal with that crap on a daily basis.

How about the lawsuits when they are laid off?

That too. Only the worst ones were laid off. When you lay off the people who are carrying a bad employee, you pretty much have to lay off the bad one too. Maybe keep one productive employee to do the work of six.

Hornin I can assure you had anyone jumped in and confronted her THEY would be the ones thrown off the plane. It’s all crazy.

I don't know, that is true everywhere else, but this **** is taken seriously on our (Frontier) flights anyway. We'll divert and have her *** taken off and probably buy something for those who would subdue her.

Ha, ha, yeah we have one employee who, in the words of the director who hired him, “really oversold his qualifications”. They won’t give him much to do and they won’t fire him. He just sits in his office. I used to see him nodding off at his computer, back when we worked in the same building. Now that he’s working from home, He is probably one well-rested employee.

If this doesn't turn people's stomachs I don't know what will. BLM protestors try to force their way into an LA hospital where two Sheriffs are being treated for serious gun shot wounds after being ambushed by some nut job. They wanted to tell the victims families that they hoped their loved ones died!!

These are the people that every major sports league supports with publicity and donations. And, sadly, the Longhorns do too.

Why the rest of the dept. wasn't there and shooting their sorry asses is beyond me.
