Impeachment

It's good to know if I ever break the law that I can use the little known "Lost my marbles" defense.

Sweet.

Well, if the prosecution had to prove you acted knowingly, then you actually could. For example, suppose an old lady with dementia is shopping, and while doing so, she puts an item she intends to buy into her pocket to free up a hand to look at something else. Then she forgets about it and walks out of the store with the item. On the store's surveillance, it looks like she's shoplifting, but in practice, there's almost no chance that she'd get charged with a crime if she claimed (believably) that she forgot about the item especially if her doctor backed up her absentmindedness.

Then she should be removed from office, plain and simple. No excuse here.

Anyone think Portman will join the "convict" crowd? Why else announce at this moment that he won't seek reelection?

Still no chance that 17 R's vote to convict. This will be a party over country vote.
So if you are country over party, are you stepping up to denounce Nancy, Kamala, Maxine and the other D's who encouraged the riots last summer as well as the abusive conduct towards ANY and ALL conservatives they might see in public?

?? I'm not a big fan of hers.

I was Collins
You were Loefller
Maybe Collins would have won it?

The NRSC and GOP are flipping out over Doug Collins' announcement for Senate.
Loeffler was Governor Kemp's hand-picked Senator to replace Isakson who just retired. Other than the female part, Loeffler is a typical old school Rep pick, a big money donor to the Rs. Kemp personally went to DC to try and convince Trump about her. But Trump preferred Collins.
Loeffler is wealthy and had donated a lot to campaigns, including at least one Democrat. She also had the bad sense to donate to Mitt Romney for Senate. Worse is that she is weak on immigration and abortion. This is part of why Kemp thought she would pull in the suburban Atlanta female vote. But my guess is that Collins will crush her since he is so closely tied to Trump (although Loeffler is much hotter than Collins). This matter shows there is still a huge gap between Senate Rs and Trump & his voting base.

Because what we need most in a swing state is a primary fight and a divided party.
I suppose 'need' can be subjective but I would argue what the Senate needs is a lot more like Collins and a lot less like Loeffler, who is just another establishment-Republican, swamp-dweller. If you want things to change in DC or even just get marginally better, then it's an easy call.

Remove all of those who have used insider trading. .....

You probably dont realize it, but you are talking about the Speaker of the House
And your boy Schiff
And your boy Fartwell
And your boy John "Ketchup" Kerry

Poor Barry is missing out on the message. A mostly peaceful protest (the Left's definition since some felon OD'ed on the street in Minn) wasn't just an Insurrection!

It was also:
Sedition!
An attempted Overthrow of the US Government!
An attack on the Constitution!
Anyone in the DC area that day who didn't vote for Slow Joe is a Traitor! And Domestic Terrorist!

Gotta harp on all the buzz words to get the re-education camps built and stocked with non-Democrat voters. See ya on the train Joe, remember try to get a seat by the door, or a hole in the floor to use as a bathroom. Forward!!!

I was for not having a divided party going into a close election. That's not the same as being "big fan." And Collins was on the ballot. He lost - came in third behind Jeremiah Wright and Loeffler. With idiots telling people not to vote, nobody would have won. And without idiots telling people not to vote, probably either one of them would have won.

Impossible to say that conclusively
Collins might have been able to get the reluctant Trump voters out en masse
But, if Dems were cheating, then nothing would have mattered

With idiots telling people not to vote because it's all rigged, why would it make a difference? Trump himself saying to vote (after undermining the case for voting) didn't even make enough of a difference.

Again, change the facts and it's impossible to say what would have happening
To argue otherwise is Idiocracy
