Lol, this reminds me of a movie I just watched about a group who went to the Amazon and chained themselves to equipment to stop deforestation. In the end they all got eaten by a tribe of cannibalists except one who made it back to the US safely. Upon interview she said the tribe was welcoming and it was the forest clearing workers who killed the group. I was surprised how honestly they portrayed the views and behaviors of these whackos.

I just paid $2.02 a gallon which is the lowest I've seen in years.

Most of what we get bombarded with isn't peer reviewed scientific journals. Most of the actual science is much less certain and less alarmist than what normally gets dished out to the public.
