How come Republican leaders don't denounce Rush?

Wow, any sympathy I had for this woman and her dealings with Limbaugh has been erased. Thanks for posting that drivel of a speech Michtex. You changed my mind and not in the direction you intended.

I haven't seen a more entitled, self righteous hyperbolic speech in a very long time.
 
I love how the narrative of this has played out.

The Dems insert this girl as a last-minute witness, knowing Issa's committee won't accept it. Then they wail about how the GOP doesn't want women to testify (nevermind that it was just this one, and one that's a 31-year-old activist that hadn't even been vetted and had ZERO expertise or credentials in the field for which she was going to testify. Mich's link is a perfect display of the lying, dishonorable way in which the dems tried to perpetrate this and continue to represent it.

Then her testimony itself is publicized, and it's an attempt to inject heresay and annecdotal "evidence". She's an activist that would appear to have come to Georgetown largely to promote forcing the school to provide contraceptives, and all of her evidence is in the form of "I hear stories every day".

And THEN she has the gall to try and slip in a medical issue, as if anyone has ever tried to make that claim before. The administration has been very upfront that this is about birth-control - not treatment for other illnesses or issues. Kathleen Sebilius(sp?) is on record that this program will pay for itself by the prevention of more children. So this isn't about health, and everyone knows it.

It was, and continues to be idiocy. And the people who support it more and more expose themselves for who and what they are.
 
The just out NBC/Wall Street Journal poll reveals not surprisingly, that women are gravitating to Democrats in significant numbers. All because the GOP can't seem to get out of its own way on women's issues.
 
Mich, 69, Meso and especially Roger35 are so full of themselves it isn't' funny. You all shallowed this Dem plant hook, line and sinker. She is a liar and this was a setup from the beginning. You can comment on what Rush said and whether he needs to be condemned for his comments but to say this girl is an innocent college co-ed? The more about her background comes out makes you all look like freaking fools athough not surprising considering who you support.

I didn't include Satchel since I still think he is a walking Democrat cliche' or a GOP plant. He can't be taken seriously.
 
Oh you are such an independent thinker yourself. Look at the polls. Watch something besides Fox News. R's are a dead-party walking and you refuse to realize it.

Namewithheld, you are welcome to your opinions. Name calling won't really get you any where. When you check out the list of major USA companies that have withdrawn sponsorship of Limbaugh's hate-filled show not to mention prominent people who've criticized I would hope you would understand the need for civil discourse.
 
Wonder why "Big Swole" in New Jersey won't tell Limbaugh to stuff it? He doen't seem to mind dressing down New Jersey constituents when he wants to.
 
Does anybody here understand what Limbaugh does to earn his damned good living? He entertains a lot of angry right wingers and keeps just enough liberals in the audience to share the outrage. Persecuting Rush for being insensitive and over the top is a little less absurd that complaining that a Grizzly Bear is poaching out-of-season salmon.
 
Rush exposes the Mainstream Media and in so doing he has served a very useful purpose in this country for over 20 years. He may have run his course. We'll see. I tend to doubt that especially if Obama is reelected. That would be just the boost he would need to keep going.
