Now Bregman is on the IL too Might have lost Josh James for the season as well. Yet somehow they have won 9 in a row. Padres are next. Unfortunately they are quite good this year

Ooops 8 in a row. I was projecting. Hope is doesnt jinx them

Is now a bad time to tell MLB that the Astros are no longer in the NL? (Yes, I realize SD is not AL.)

My guess is that the Texas locations assure the games will be played without worrying about the weather. Pretty much the same is true for the SoCal spots

The As were desperate to avoid the 4-game sweep

FWIW, all of the Astros virus tests from Friday were negative. They were tested again today and will isolate until the results come back.

The Astros have the lowest strikeout % in baseball and are third in runs scored

Wonder how long it took for them to contract with the NJ lab that did the NFL testing which produced all of the false positives.

I just hope Valdez gets the chance to kick their *** again since his spot in the rotation is what was being avoided...Framber has generally been en fuego since moving to starter.

Have to say I was surprised to see them that high in overall runs (not shown in the chart) given the number of low-run games they had in that losing streak. I guess those double-digit wins really added up though...

Yesterday I did something I haven't done in a long time, like 5 years. I changed the wallpaper on my phone's home page from the Astros logo to the Longhorns. I also scraped the Astros sticker off my car. I am not going to say never, but I am done with these current Astros' players. I was already mad at them about the cheating, and now they are joining in with not playing games due to so-called social injustice. The player leaders of this team would not step up and put a stop to the cheating, even tho they knew AJ didn't like it (yes AJ should have handled but if the leaders of the team would have helped him out, none of this had to happen) and now you are going to lecture all of us on our lack of wokeness. I can't stand it anymore.

It's one thing to be born in this country and take our freedoms from granted. Hell, we all do that. But so many MLB players have come here from other countries that are impoverished by socialism and now they are millionaires and they want to tell me how awful this country is. I just didn't think Astros players would do that. Let's just look at Jose Altuve as an example - where would he be if he had stayed in Venezuela? Picking thru garbage to try to get something to eat?

These guys let us fans down already not putting a stop to the cheating that cost AJ and also Jeff Lunhow their jobs and stained our WS win, and now they have the gall to run down the country that has made them so wealthy. I am done with this group of players.

I always said there is one team in all of sports that I was a fan of before the Longhorns, and that is the Houston Astros. I said that if God himself came down and told me to choose one, I would have a hard time. Well, I guess I have my answer, at least until the Longhorns fall for this BS and walk off the field for the same stupid reason. I sure hope it does not come to that.

Looks like we are going to get to see if a 37 year old pitcher can come back after Tommy John surgery.

If the Astros win the World Series in Arlington, maybe the Rangers will allow us to hang a banner in their new stadium?

Astros pull out the win against the Twinkies..17 consecutive post-season losses for MN. Astros put three up in the 9th and win 4-1. Mattress Mack got down $250K at +150, netting a profit of $375K on top of the original $250K.

Not happy about Dusty burning Framber for five innings though. He ate the innings like the ace he is becoming, but dang...now you lose him as a starter in the series for all intents and purposes.

Framber was not gonna start this series
