Houston Astros 2017 Thread

Epic series. As a ranger fan I hope the Astros close this thing out. The memory of 2011 still hurts, don't want Houston to experience that kind of pain. Esp after Harvey's devastation. Hopefully Verlander shuts down LA Tuesday night.
 
Getting to Kershaw like the Astros did last night was incredible. It is all there for the taking Tuesday night with Verlander on the mound. Before the series began I told a friend Houston in 6 because I thought the Astros would win Verlander's two starts and get to Hill and Darvish while losing the two Kershaw starts. Bit off on that but on course for 'Stros in 6.

I hope Verlander can go all the way cuz there is nobody in the bullpen that AJ can trust. Dodgers supposedly superior bullpen not fairing any better, tho.

I know it’s a tradition and would never be called, but is it technically illegal in baseball to come out of the dugout during a play? Just curious.
 
I won’t go so far as to claim credit, but the Astros have made sharp turnarounds twice this postseason after I made exaggeratedly negative posts. First, I posted this when the Astros lost their third straight to the Yankees:

The Astros in game seven get Yu "give up 3 long balls a game" Darvish who will give up at least a couple of home runs tomorrow because Darvish gonna Darvish, Even with the tough loss tonight, I still like Houston in game seven. The Dodgers are way too cocky about how they cant lose game seven if they could just win game six.

Correct FW. Calhoun means more to the Rangers future than Darvish ever did.
