Astros take the Series!! WooHoo!

I knew they would win when Darvish took the mound as LAs starting pitcher! No wonder the Rangers traded him.
 
I literally waited a lifetime for that last inning

I cried thinking about my dad and a handful of other friends who did not make it to see this
 
Wow JF I am right there with you. I am 1 year older than the Astros. They are the only team in any sport at any level that I was a fan of before the Longhorns. I got it from my parents, both of whom did not live to see this moment.
 
well since the early days of listening to the Colt .45's games on KWKH I dreamt of my team winning the big one..............55 years later HOW SWEET IT IS..!

This pic was from the .45's 1st game ever which they won 11-2 over the Cubs at Colt Stadium........what a journey its been since that day in 1962..........HOW BOUT THEM ASTROS!

Very thankful Roberts was dumb enough to start Darvish, and leave him in after the Stros were up 3-0. I guess there are coaches at the highest level even dumber than some of the FB coaches we've had.

As yes Phil, ridiculous strike zone. 4" difference between strikes for Stros vs Dojers. Fortunately it didn't matter.
