Horns vs TCU Game Thread

I just don't see how this team stays in the top 20. They are looking like a team getting ready to get bounced by ACU again.
 
This team has experience, offensive firepower, athleticism but doesn’t play defense well enough to make a deep run in the tournament. The first of the year I really thought we had a team good enough to make a final four run. Defense just hasn’t come together.
 
Terry better settle 'em down and dial up some serious 2nd half magic. Otherwise this could be a major blowout!
 
Down 12 at half 44-32. Let's hope we have taken Frogs best shot and we'll take care of business in the 2nd half.
 
This is the first half from hell. One team looks prepared and playing like they’re in a title hunt. And the other is the Longhorns. This is embarrassing. :brickwall:
 
Horns terrible from the foul line tonight is not helping.

60-50 with about 7 min. left. Horns are out of sync and playing sloppy!
 
This is not a well disciplined team. They aren't playing like a well coached team. Maybe they are well coached, but they don't look like it.
 
Every time I watch this team they allow the opposition to get a big early lead and then it’s a massive effort to win the game. I get the feeling that this team is going to do that in the playoffs and be bounced early like 1st or 2nd round.
 
@LonghornCatholic you missed a "decent" 2nd half comeback attempt.

However, too many missed free throws and sloppy play. 22 turnovers will kill ya' . Hole was 16 points at one time...

75-73 is the final.

Perhaps this team rallies to beat and sully KU to finish #2 in B12 standings. However, 'Hawks clinched the title tonight.
 
Anybody still think that Terry should be retained
As head coach.

yet another game we forgot to show up ready to play and fall behind double digits without any adjustments by Terry until half time.

we are probably going to finish losing 4 of the last 7 regular season games I believe.

my opinion has been for a long time, adios Terry.

With that logic, I guess Coach Schaefer needs to go to. UT women were in the same position. Win the next two and you get the conference title. Women showed up with no effort as a team on Monday. Got beat by Baylor. Maybe both basketball teams got together and decided to end their seasons early to concentrate on other things. Maybe it's the water on campus. I'm just tired of seeing banked 3's and opponents having career days against us every game. Gets old.
