Horns vs. KU

Surprised this hasn't been started....I started watching it in the 2nd and KU has been able to hit Gordon some. but as I type this Guillemette ties up the game with a solo HR over the CF wall. 2-2 now top of 4th
 
And as I scan the lineup, I finally agree with it. Daly should be last and EK behind Porter. We will see how they do. Porter got a single and stole second, one out for EK
 
Gordon struggled with his command last inning and starts this inning off with a walk.
 
and should have been two but Daly's throw to 1st was a little wide and it pulled Thomas off the bag but I think he might have been out. Didn't matter cause Gordon pitched to the next batter and he puts it in play to Powell, to O'Dowd to Thomas for the inning ending double play. :spicynana:
 
O'Dowd lines out to Rf, Daly flies out to CF, Thomas looks like a two year player here already, he looks real comfortable gets his 2nd hit of the game hitting oppo through the gap between ss and 3rd. 2 outs with Powell at bat
 
hahahaha and Powell bunts toward the SS position cause of the shift in the field and there is no play. 2 on 2 outs :bounce2::bounce1:
 
WOW and now an errant throw by the pitcher to 1st base, not sure why he did that with a runner on 2nd also but Thomas scores all the way from 2nd on the errant throw. UT up 3-2 with Powell now on 2nd campbell at bat
 
Campbell pops up to LF to end the inning but not before UT tacks on 1 run. Campbells hitting streak in jeopardy, he is Ofer so far today.
 
Can't speak highly enough about how good Thomas looks, people take him for granted now, he had a rough start to the season but looks like a seasoned veteran now at 1st base. We sure needed Flores and Galvan to make those same strides this year.
 
2 outs but Gordon walks his next batter and woody makes a visit. As chop might say, Woody walks out to talk to Gordon about how amazing the corn variety is at the nearest grocery store, short visit.
 
Dang it, i guess the discussion about the latest corn variety didn't work, batter hits a nice ball to the right center field gap to score another run, KU up 5-3 now.
 
Gordon just didn't have his best stuff today. Not a good sign if our friday night starter can't get it done.
 
Dang, that should have been a called third strike on the third pitch, umpire is squeezing Shaw just a little and he ends up walking him. 2 on, 2 out still.
 
Guillemette has struggled a little bit today too, hes responsible for a passed ball run earlier in the game and another passed ball moves the runners up a base and then a base hit to RF and two more score. Rough day today, down 7-3 now.
 
Finally end of the inning with a deep fly ball to CF, on to the top of the 6th with some work to do.
