If TH is true to his word, he would try Shane just to see if he can spark the team. Sam is just off today and TH should recognize this and give Shane a shot.
 
Sam competent? It’s not like he broke record for most PAs without an INT or anything. Oh wait. I think he’s honestly been superlative for most of the season.

He looked lights out on first drive. I’m wondering if he got hit on a scramble and isn’t saying anything. His ability to control his passes is off.
 
This is all Kansas wants...ugly, close, one score game. Only thing better would be close game going into the fourth quarter.

Ironically I only like Matt Leinart here with his sensible commentary. The rest of this crew is bush league.
 
Sam was sharp (6-7) on the first drive. Since then hes taken 2 big hits and his throws are off. Bring in Boo and let Sam heal.

This doesn't look like a Texas team that's hungry for a conference title, and Sam is a liability today. The second half will tell us a lot about the coaching staff.
 
This is a travesty of a game. We play like this it won't matter who we play next week assuming we win. Sam has been atrocious. He can't start the 2nd half.
 
I don’t think the issue with Sam is an injury although it could be. He just seems to be off, missing passes, reads, coverages. He either needs to get it together or we should try SB.

I am also not impressed with Ingram. He seems to have hit a wall. Missing holes. Going down more easily...

Disagree. The D is playing championship ball. Holding KU to under 100yds in the first half.

The offense is playing poor after the first drive. Sam is way off since that drive. That is the difference in scoring or not. He missed Beck wide open for a TD, threw the int which killed FG chance;

The most critical position on the field is QB. Sam seems off; Maybe his shoulder, probably is. TH needs to be smart. We can win this game with Shane. Sam hurt is not the Sam we need in the game.
