The twins looked more comfortable. The game is slower. McCarty is playing good. Taylor and others have clamped down on Caldwell. She only made one 3 that I saw. This year if you can slow her down, tech has troubles scoring.

We gave up a 9-0 to Tech late in the 3rd quarter as they cut our 25 point lead down to 16. But, Texas puts together a few baskets, including a 3 pointer by Brooke at the buzzer to take a 20 point lead into the 4th quarter.

looks like everyone played. Jada sure looked rusty, though. Glad to see her back on the court. We are going to need her going forward. Another 20 pt win over Tech stops the Lady Raiders' home winning streak this season at 10 games.

We held Recee Caldwell to 2 of 14 shooting and one 3 pointer; and, she had 5 turnovers.

We rebounded well and stayed out of foul trouble.

Happy with the game. Lots of good play, but the subs who came in for the last five minutes or so did not look ready at all. It didn't matter, but tonight I wouldn't have wanted that group to carry the team long. I guess you lose your edge when you sit on the bench most of the time. I can't wait till Joyner's shot becomes more dependable, if that day comes. Aston's comment about her having the potential to be one of the great players of the game is really true.

I think Aston has 9 players that she will use in a close game. That is 2 more than most teams. 10-13 are good players, but not in some games. Especially when all 4 are in game at same time.
