Horns travel to WVU Saturday

WCBBNUT,

LHN is for home games only; you are missing that huge point. If other networks don't pick up our home football, volleyball, soccer, men's and women's hoops, baseball, and softball games, then LHN televises them LIVE; that has held true.

From a national perspective, women's hoops games seem to get more TV time on Sunday's than on Saturday's. Probably because the major TV networks are airing men's hoops games.

As for Tuesday's game, FS1 decided to pick up our home game against OU. So, they dictate the game time. If they had not wanted to televise the game, then it would have fallen to LHN and Texas would have designated the game time.

I'm not seeing that the Tech game will be televised Saturday either. I'd settle for a replay on LHN
Unfortunately, you can't replay something that wasn't televised (or streamed) to begin with. And, LHN does not have rights to Texas Tech streamed home games.

The men's game against WVU which aired on ESPN2 yesterday has been replayed several times on LHN yesterday and today; that is because ESPN owns both networks. Same thing happens with men's football games which were aired on ESPN/ABC's network of channels (or streaming). You won't see LHN replaying any games which aired on CBS or FOX (FSN, FS1) as ESPN does not own the content.

Regardless, other than Tech, every game remaining appears to be on television or streamed on ESPN3. Not many programs can claim that.

It was Uconn's chance to set a new winning streak record so it woulda been televised had they been playing NE Idaho Potato Farmers College. Although it is certainly ridiculous our game wasn't. Time shoulda been different anyway, or shoulda been on Sunday.
True, but UConn weekly powder puff will be on regardless. Good for them. They are number 1. And I imagine the audience for Iowa State vs TCU is huge. That game is on now.

My point, however, is not that our game should trump others but rather that our game should have been on LHN.

Anything can be negotiated. Anything.

Every program has production capabilities. Even the small ones and they are all for sale. But someone on here mentioned we get a televised game more often than not and I would agree with that. We are better covered than most and I am thankful for that.
