I really disagree with your low opinion of Ewers. Part of playing a gunslinging passing offense—without interceptions or grounding penalties, pick sixes, etc. is to take a sack and live to play another play. Especially when Ewers steps up and takes a sack for -3 or -4 yards , that’s what the coaches want him to do.
