Statistically, Texas is actually a very good 3pt shooting team. But I agree with you, it seems like we miss a lot.

Statistically, Texas is actually a very good 3pt shooting team. But I agree with you, it seems like we miss a lot.

After I posted that they consistently went inside with good results. Offensively they have few options in the mid range game, really just Disu. If only Mitchell could hit shots from 10-13 feet like Allen last year it would open up a lot. But he simply doesn’t have that.

Outside of a handful of possessions on offense and defense, I don’t think that we could have done better in the first half.

Best half of basketball they have played this year. When this team shoots well, they generally play good defense. Rebounding will always be an issue for them as they are not physically imposing. When they don’t shoot well, they look lost on both ends of the court. Most teams play better when shots are going in, but it is a must for this team or they don’t play with any energy at all.
