I don't care if the Horns find a way to win this OU game. Herman is not it!
 
This is so hard to watch.

Looks like we are just trying to get out of here now, except for Sam.

It makes you wonder why so many players are putting up for transfers.

While the AD is losing 100 plus million this year and laying 100 people off?

a poster here already laid out the narrative. New oc and dc (replacing the ones that had to be fired) plus limited spring practice - say that it’s was a strange year and it will all be better next year.
 
Saw on College Gameday that TH's 'Horns have the most losses by a ranked team to an unranked team---Congrats, Tommy! You just added to it today :brickwall:

And what's up with making muscle man poses after a tackle where the play goes for 5+ yards? Coaches should be managing that as well. Reminds of the tackle that an Aggie made years ago after the opposing team hung 77 on them.
 
I’m NOT a fair weather fan! Been a Longhorn Fan for more than 45 Years and an alumni for 30.
1. I am sick and tired Of NOT being prepared to play! That is coaching 101.
2. We look lackadaisical and are more worried about trash talking the opponent instead of just whipping his ***! Line up play and let the scoreboard dictate your speech.
3. We have NO offensive philosophy. NONE! We get to third and 3 or 4 and have EVERYONE run either a 45+ yard route or pass behind the los! I am tired of screaming at the TV.
4. At first I thought LHN was a great thing! SCUTTLE IT! Our players are more worried about their social status and bling than winning!
5. (If this is considered political, I apologize) TH, staff and ALL players needs to focus on XOs and not the current Social media topic of the day! You are getting a $100,000+ scholarship for free. Yes, I know the University is making money but these kids have zero accountability. Don’t like coach because I’m a Pima Donna, I go into the portal!
SORRY for the rant! Just so exasperated with the laissez faire attitude of mediocrity! If you want that attitude go to a&m!

Are: number 3. At times on third down in the ou game I thought Sam should have yelled - "P for K"!
 
Herman has lost his team and the fan base, he has to go.

Once TH is gone, we will have likely a few classes of players that will need to be pushed out of the program (either through benching or being released from scholarships) so the new staff can start over.

I have hoped at the minimum that Herman would replenish the roster with talent, but many of the upper classmen on this team have been so poorly coached for so long or are such an absolute cancer to the team that they will need to be cleaned out before we can start rebuilding.

The net result is it will be years before we will be in a position to contend for anything. The immediate future does not look bright.

This is spot on. TH and the team are just lost. Sick of seeing all these kids on defense jump up and pose after plays that they sucked at. You dont pose after the player gains yardage. Still the D did not wrap up and drive to the ground today. Really surprised to see Koburn get pushed back into the end zone. That guy weighs probably 350 and should be strong as an ox along with the other guys. Our OL just gets abused week after week. Yes they are not 5 star recruits but get them on campus, feed them, work them out for strength so they can maintain position and occasionally get a block on a running play. Jones is just a free ride for whomever lines up over him. He is not big enough to hold his position. Whomever is the special teams coach should be fired today. How many weeks do we have one bungled play after another on special teams. Too many issues to list them all but like the original poster, 50+ years will not drive me away. The spoiled disrespect of the players, coaches and possibly administration may. Have not worn any of he burnt orange since all this political crap started and may never again. Just sick of my university being the butt of jokes and not delivering when there are millions of dollars spent.
 
But y'all aren't going to believe this, but we had the greatest practice on Sunday!
Maybe Texas should petition the NCAA to play all games on Sundays.
 
I guess when you run out of excuses you brag about practices. I thought that was reserved for preseason, but I suppose we've hit a new low.

I remember that aggy celebration. Even the announcers were saying "he's dancing about a tackle with his team is down by 70!?"
 
Who gives a **** what DeShon Elliott thinks? But, I'll play along. Yes Strong sucked *** and so does Herman. So what? Does he have a point he is trying to make?

Herman should be fired just for hiring his suck *** friend Ash for DC. I got off the Herman bandwagon at that time and knew he would be a joke.
