Hells Kitchen anyone??

Does anyone here watch the show Hells Kitchen?? I'm addicted to it..been watching it since the first season..I love Chef Ramsay!!
 
I watch parts of each season but I lose interest each time.. Seems like he gets meaner all the time. Sometimes he blows up for no reason at all.
 
Absolutely LOVE the show!! The guys crapped out already, so tonight should be interesting. How the guys didn't know all the meals planned the 1st go round just blows my mind!
 
That's Fox for you. He's a ton cooler on his British show and he seems like he really cares about helping restaurants. He still curses a lot, but that's him.

If you get a chance, check out his UK show...I think it's called Kitchen Nightmares or something.
 
His BBC shows are much better. Kitchen Nightmares and the F-word are really good. Fox plays up conflict and has him yell alot. He likes to cuss and will get after people for screwing up on the other shows, but he doesn't spend half the episode getting in people's faces and yelling at them. On Kitchen Nightmares, he's calm pretty much all the time and is focused on straightening out problems. He gets mad more often on the F-word. Hell's Kitchen feels very fake.
 
I really don't care for reality shows, but "Hell's Kitchen" is the exception. It is the only one I'll watch with my wife. The chef in year one, who was in prison, runs a restaurant in Giddings (at least he used to) that my wife and I have wanted to try, but haven't been able to. I am not sure of the name but if any fan of the show has gone there, I'm curious as to how you liked it.
 
I love the show. I dig cooking and like the level of quality he insists from these folk.

Top Chef is nice also.
 
I like Hell's Kitchen, love the shows on the BBC, espeially liked the ones where he raised this own pigs with the fam to eventually serve in his restaurant.

On Hell's Kitchen he appears to always be wearing a hearing aide. Wonder if the FOX staff feed him things to say.
 
this show is complete garbage. gordon ******* ramsay, in an effort to find a new exec. chef for one of his restaurants would NEVER include a ******* waffle house line cook in the cast of 20 hopefuls. period.
 
I love the show, but this is the worst cast that has ever set foot in Hell's Kitchen. It's obvious that they are bringing these people in on purpose, because if they brought in the top chefs in the US, then what fun would the show be if people were making great food, getting plates out on time and making Chef Ramsey happy?
I cracked up last night when they got kicked out of the kitchen and the military guy is waving and blowing kisses to his tables...then Ramsey ripped him up and down.
 
Jason was PATHETIC!! I didn't like a damn thing about him. I think the show is comical, but damn..... I could cook better than half of those fools, esp Craig! Come on now.... how hard is it to cut up a chicken, for real!!
 
Jason should have been gone the first week..cutting up a whole chicken into 8 perfect pieces isnt as easy as you think it is..

I hope the next person to leave Hells Kitchen is Bobby..the girls are definately dominating this season, I wouldnt be surprise if one of them wins the competition..
 
I hate Hell's Kitchen. It sucks balls.

However, I really enjoy the BBC Kitchen Nightmares and think Ramsay is great on them, despite the fact that they are a little repetitious. That said, the BBC America shows have not been on in quite a while. Is the season merely over or has that show ended?
 
I definitely like Kitchen Nightmares better, and his rants do seem a little over the top. But I kind of enjoyed it, except for the fact that between the flashbacks after commercials I think there's only about 30 minutes of actual new footage per show.
 
Several new episodes of kitchen nightmares were on a month or two ago. I think the seasons are very short. It takes a week + a return trip later, so I imagine Ramsay doesn't have the time to make a lot of them.
 
If I want to hear a lot of screeching, and screaming I can just invite a bunch of kids over the to the house. Add to it the curse words that literally emotionally freeze some of the contestants and is blantent mental abuse combined with throwing stuff at them, I would find walking barefoot in a field goatheads more entertaining and enjoyable. That is not entertainment in my opinion. Of course I do not watch a group of adults plotting, coniving, lying, etc., like they do on Big Brother and Survivor.
 
Over it. Most of these people have zero ability in the kitchen; I understand the need for some drama but to select most of these nitwits for a cooking competition show is pointless.
 
I watch the show from time to time, but the casting is terrible. You'd think with such prestigious positions going to the winners they'd find better cooks.
 
Sure there are incompetent cooks there, but it wouldn't be entertaining if they could all work as a team on Day 1.
 
Anyone watched tonights episode?? Craig was eliminated..did Chef Ramsay make the right decision?? IMO, Matt should have been the one eliminated tonight..Once again, the girls dominated

Anyone who serves a bunch of raw chicken should be gone immediately. and yes Top Chef is much better and actually has real chefs.
 
I wonder if this show intentionally casts idiots, or if real chefs just don't want any part of it. That Ramsey really would let any of these jokers into his kithen is a bit of a stretch, that he would give them the title Executive Chef is almost laughable. That said, his challanges have been a little more on point this season than last, and I appreciate that they actually involve essential elements of cooking.

I think Craig went home because of his body of miserable work. That said, it had to have been a tough call between him and Matt... who, by the way, is the creepiest looking dude I've ever seen.

I'm not exactly sure what Ramsey's hard on for Ben is about. He doesn't seem any worse than anyone else on the team, and all he was trying to do was have a little team unity.
