I haven't gotten to watch as many games as I want to. My husband dominates the DVR some nights, recording so many shows that I can't watch the game. Plus this registration cycle at school has been just brutal. The good thing is that I am now the academic advisor for the baseball team!

Wash has done a great job of changing the team from waiting for a big hit to speed and pressure. They are creating runs without extra base hits which makes for a much better game to watch and one that can win in the playoffs. Really liking Leonys in the leadoff spot.

Wash is way underrated as Manager and deserves tons of credit for managing this team to pennants. This year may be his best ever.

I noticed that too. I'm glad the Rangers have been able to take care of business down there, but they really should be hitting the 'Stros starting pitching better than they have been though.

Made it out to the ballpark last Saturday to watch Rangers rough up King Feliz. Since I posted this thread the Rangers are on one of the best runs in their history for a 22 game stretch at 18-4. 35 games left and you have to think that a record of 20-15 probably wins the west at 94 wins and certainly gets the Rangers into the playoffs. Its nice to have the Rangers catching fire in August much like the A's did last year. Only question is can they sustain this with basically no number five pitcher and no Cruz. It certainly has been fun to watch these past three plus weeks.

Yes. Pitt sweeps us at home, R's have lost 4 in a row, we are playing small ball, our Ace is in a rut and the A's are coming to town... I don't like the direction this is going ya'll.

When i posted this thread it was right before the Rangers went on a torrid August run. Now i really do think they are hitting the wall and I have serious doubts that they hold on even to a wild card spot. The next 6 with Oakland and TB will tell the tale.

Still hoping to say Go Rangers in October!

i dont know how you'd say the rangers Ace is in a rut when he's lost back to back 1-0 games. seems like he's doing his job just fine to me.... this offense is just on epically bad levels right now....

Hanging on by a thread. Walkoff homer by Profar tonight keeps the Rangers one game out of wild card spot. 4 errors in one inning tonight was brutal (as has been most of September). TB and Cleveland keep winning so it's not looking good. But they play the games for a reason.
