Two points on this. First, is this a good trade? Are there enough Trump-receptive black and Hispanic voters who will reliably turnout in the right states to make up for suburban losses? That's unlikely.

Second, are suburban women really that woke? Trump won them just two years ago, and for about 50 years, they were pretty reliable Republican voters. Shouldn't we care why we're losing them? I'm not saying that none of them are woke. Some of them are, but that hasn't been the norm.

Third, don't you think we need leaders who can effectively make the case against wokeness? Guys like Crenshaw can do it. Trump? Far less likely to do it effectively. Too much dick-tripping.
Working class men and women don’t have the neuroticisms of college educated women. It’s a better trade if it works out.

True advocacy shows up in positive results.

No, it doesn't. Somebody still has to make the case. That's true even when no one is making the opposite case, and it's far more true when there is an opposition actively making the opposite case.

But to what extent? In 2016, we won the working class and barely won the election by the skin of our taint. How much of the college educated can we afford to lose? I think it's also important to distinguish between single women (far more difficult for Republicans to win) and married women (much easier for Republicans to win). Probably not worth fighting for singles. Definitely worth fighting for married women.

Amazing to me that anyone still thinks a college education is worthwhile if a lot of college educated people vote dem. How stupid do you have to be to watch and listen to biden and harris speak gibberish constantly and still vote for them? And, college educated people still aren't smart enough to see those two have done literally nothing of significance in their careers. Long time politicians who will get things right THIS TIME.

Unbelievable.

More of this is coming. As I stated above, the policies espoused by the neurotic women hurt the *majority* of the country.

Will these people vote? This was observed at a Home Depot:

Ok I am amazed someone thought up that sign, had it produced, marketed it, sold it to someone, who bought it, and displayed it,
Damn free enterprise is a beautiful thing!

No head coach is right on every decision, but there's a reason why teams feared the Cowboys much more when Jimmy Johnson was the coach then when Barry Switzer was the coach.

And in case you're wondering, Crenshaw is not Switzer in this analogy.
Triggered.

I think you make some good points. I seriously doubt more than 5% of the black and hispanic population have heard of The National Review or American Thinker, know what the Babylon Bee is or watch Fox News. They continue to be brainwashed by the MSM. Most will still continue to vote against their best interests, as will Asians. I'm not sure how you get them to read and understand real facts in the short term.

That's nonsense. To compare Trump to those three doesn't make you look very good.
Dude, I'm saying being NOMINATED is no big deal as those three got nominated as well. I'm pointing out that even the WORST could get a nomination. I'm not comparing them.

Winning one? Obama did that. I didn't bring that up.

You're right, but I can also be sold on the idea that blacks and Hispanics can be sold on voting Republican at least to some extent greater than they currently are. Same with Asians who are voting wildly against their interests. It's like a bunch of blacks voting for George Wallace.

What bugs me is the nonchalant willingness to just toss away a colossal bloc of voters based on the guess that we might pickup a group of voters that haven't voted Republican since the Hoover Administration.

These women are withholding their kids from elementary school due to covid. They are bonkers.

If these bloc of suburban women can't see what Biden etc would do to the country and their complaint is Trump is crude what could be said to them to change their minds?

Based on what evidence? If you believe the current polling then I got a bridge to sell you. Watch the national polls magically tighten in last week to Biden +2 (which means Trump wins EC).

My wife knows parents who have not been to the neighborhood play park with their young kids since March. WTF?

Who to believe? That is the question.

This.

My wife and I coach(ed) chess in the evenings 5 nights a week in 3 suburbs. In March (prior to covid) we had NLT 80 students per week. Now we have 9. Parents are scared out of their minds about covid. It's a friggin joke.

Where the parents who have blue collar jobs don’t have this luxury.

My apologies for misunderstanding you. However, what Trump is doing here is big. Getting nations who did not even recognize one another are going to do so. We're slowly building a coalition against Iran.
