Good for Conan

Im watching his final show right now. Every last second has been awesome. I cant remember ever being this entertained by Lenos joke of a show.

The crowd is great. At the opening, it took about 3 minutes to calm everyone down for it to only start again after a montage of all the great moments that he had on The Tonight Show.

Im going to miss Conan... Stupid Leno and NBC need to learn.

Boycott Leno!!!

Anyone who didnt watch his exit just now.. Missed a powerful and worth watching speech that Conan gave.. He nearly cried, but held it together..

Im so glad to have been a fan of Conan since he started.. I felt appreciated today by him.. And that is all you can ask of someone who brings you joy every night you sit down to watch.

What a freakin' class act. Ill post a video of the speech once it hits YouTube. Anyone supporting Conan, or not supporting him for that matter.. needs to see that.

It was a great show and I think Conan's "serious" speech near the end of the show was pretty well-grounded. Looking forward to his next show.

I think I read somewhere that when Leno hosted the Tonight Show, he was not guaranteed the exact 10:35pm slot because NBC reserved the rights to delay the show for additional sports or news coverage. If this is true, then they probably had the same agreement with Conan. (I can't show where I saw this because I have read so many articles on this situation that I couldn't possibly find the link now.)

All the articles I have seen only said that Leno was guaranteed 9pm, not that he was ever guaranteed 10:35pm or would be in his second stint as Tonight host. When looked at it this way, it sounds like less of a blunder by Team Coco and more like an apples-to-oranges comparison.

Last night's finale was AWESOME! It was funny, and sad too- but to end it with Will Ferrell, singing Free Bird w Conan on the guitar (at least I think he was playing!)- and a little cowbell. Wow, just wow.

Who was that pregnant lady who stood behind ferrell the entire song? And who were some of the other musicians? I recognized the ZZ Top guy, and I thought the one next to him looked like Elvis Costello, but I didn't pick up on who was playing the steel guitar or the guitarist on the far right.

Beck was a guitarist, Will Ferrell's wife Viveca Paulin- she's kinda hot. And I think Ben Harper was there too.

For me- that and the highlights were the best part- an awesome ending. And a smart idea to have that song last..

The whole show was great. From Michael's exit interview, Tom's "Co-Co, Co-Co, Co-Co", the seriously classy good-bye and then jamming to Freebird with Will. Absolutely loved the cowbell at the end.

I picked up the show from the moment Tom Hanks entered. What a brilliant exit for Conan. Loved his speech and the fact he ended with something he had evidently always wanted to do.

Well done, Conan!

"All I ask of you, especially young people . . . is one thing. Please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen. I'm telling you, amazing things will happen."

true that.
