There were several rows of empty seats at the top of the student section in the Mezzanine (Sections 78, 79, 81). They should continue to take away seats from students up there as it's clear that they have no interest in sitting in the Mezz.

you dont realize how student tickets work. all of those empty seats up there were accounted for, its just the people that were supposed to be sitting in them were down in one of the ozones (making much more noise than they couldve if theyd been up high).

so you would like to take those away from us and sell them to the general public? that is the last thing the FEC needs to do.

I don't think we don't rush the court because we have a holier than thou attitude. I think it's because you don't rush the floor when you actually have a very good team. Don't teams rush the court when it's a huge upset? Texas is good enough that they don't have any huge upset wins.
Do you think Kansas fans would rush their court if a #11 Kansas beat a #3 Texas in Lawrence? I doubt it.

There is no reason for an #11 to rush the court after beating a #3.

I'm pretty sure all this talk about rushing the court is ridiculous. Who gives a CRAP what it freakin LOOKS like.....if it was an intense game, who cares? It's freakin fun. I seriously don't see what the big deal is. Just to say that we are "above" that or whatever is stupid, and EXTREMLY arrogant. Ok, I'm not saying rush the court when we beat a 1-8 OSU, but seriously, there's more important things to get worried about.

Wait let me read my post again..........yup, that's not what I said.

I'm just saying, every time we have a big win, it's like, ya we are hard cuz we don't rush the court. I just dont see the big freakin deal. To me, saying we are above that is like the idiot that is playing pick up basketball that will "never call a foul (when the offense calls the fouls) because he "doesn't do that." I remember like 5 years ago when we FINALLY beat OU, and it was mayhem, it was awesome. It's just not a big deal. It's not.
