Go Spurs Go!

Duncan now has blocked potential highlight-reel tomahawk slam dunks by both Blake Griffin and Kevin Durant in the 2012 playoffs. Age is just a number.

Valiant effort by the Thunder to get back in the game, but the Spurs just keep winning.

Twenty in a row and counting ...

I once heard a talking head say that a game 5 was the most critical game in a seven game series, but I have always considered game 3 as the most pivotal. Particularly when a team has a 2-0 lead in the series.

Spurs seize a two game lead with a game that wasn't as close as it felt. Thunder get credit for making a respectable run, but the Spurs put a boot on their throat to close out the game.

Tony "These Aren't the 'Droids You're Looking For" Parker repeatedly used and abused Russell Westbrook. Wow.

It seems that "Go Spurs Go!" has been displaced by "I Want Some Nasty!" as the team's catch phrase, at least temporarily.

Somebody must have started printing the t-shirts immediately after game 1.

Spurs looking great. Hot shooting is what is 'spurring' them to victory right now. Thunder just can't slow them down. The refs so far in this series have called a foul just about anytime a player has driven into the lane. The Spurs have capitalized and been aggressive. Thunder just haven't gone to the hoop enough IMO and Durant needs to take over a bit at some point.

If you would have told me Durant, Westbrook, and Harden would give you 31/30/27 I would have said Spurs lose. But Spurs have gotten great support from their bench and Parker/Ginobili were fantastic in game 2. If one of those 2 keeps stepping up then they have great chance to keep winning.

Definitely a team effort and Ginobili has been awesome, but TP proves once again what a joke it is that he was not first team all-nba. Leaving a legitimate MVP candidate off the top five is absurd.

Huge game tonight. No team has ever come back from 3 - 0 so the spurs can put themselves in the finals. The Thunder can put themselves back in the series with a victory.

The smart money in Vegas favors the Thunder by 3 1/2 tonight. Hard to argue with the logic since you know the Thunder will make a superhuman effort to avoid being down 3-0. Hope the Spurs can weather the storm. Danny Crawford is the refs crew chief tonight and he's a good one.

Spurs played sloppy with 21 turnovers. Can't beat a team as good as the Thunder doing this.

On the plus side, they earned a loss and can now put that streak to bed. They can get back to work for Game 4.

32 FT's in game 3 vs 71 in game 2. that played to Thunder advantage. finally a great lineup change by Thunder coach with Sefolosha.

Thunder did not shoot great from 3 so they can still improve on this game.

Not the first sloppy blowout loss for the Spurs this year, although it has been a while.

With Pop and the veterans on this team I expect SA to bounce back and be more competitive in game four.

They aren't going to wither in this series and we are going to see a 6 or 7 game series. Pop did good in limiting minutes for his players in that loss.

We'll see what happens in game 4.

Durant was on fire in game 4. Ibaka...man who would have thought that was coming. I've never seen so many uncontested pull up J's and nasty dunks. Wow. This is going to be a series worth watching.

Heard it best after the game... that Scott said watching tape (of Spurs) taught his team they had to move the ball. Playing the Spurs will make you championship material. Maybe the best coached franchise today. Good series. Actually, great series.

Ugh! Hard to take losing this series.

I normally don't ***** about calls, but there were downright dreadful calls against the Spurs in this game.

Nonetheless, the great teams have to work past bad calls. The Spurs had a terrible fourth quarter and the Thunder rose to take the title. Given time to get over this hangover, I'll be rooting for KD.

That being said, I'm damn proud of the Spurs. I'm proud of Pop, Tim, Tony, Manu, Stephen, and the whole organization. A class act that won on fundamentals and character.

GO SPURS GO!!!

The calls didn't decide anything. The Spurs simply just ran out of gas. Pop started playing his top players too many minutes and their legs got tired at the end. Their jump shots which were going in the first half were not going in the 2nd half. They were a bit late getting into defensive position and they just weren't taking the charges like they normally do. Nevertheless they were still in it late. If Many had even a decent game then they probably win that game and who knows. OKC clearly got better in multiple phases throughout this series. Playing SA and watching and learning from them hs helped their franchise. They just need to continue to grow and develop and this OKC team could easily be a multiple title team....especially considering Dallas, SA, LA, Boston are all possibly in or near rebuilding mode.

Spurs need a superstar that can take over games. Parker is not it and neither is Ginobli. They are great team players but when you get out coached (and Pop is a great coach), you need someone to step up, put the team on their back and push them to the finish. Maybe Duncan circa 2005 but the Spurs do not have that player right now.

I'd rather see a Boston/OKC match-up. More of a team match-up than the street ball Miami plays (plays well).

As a Spurs fan, I am happy for KD and OKC. They really do have some great fans there. I'll be pulling for them against whoever they play in the finals. It helps that I absolutely dislike both Miami and Boston.

The agony of defeat doesn't affect me and linger like it once did. I remember the then Washington Bullets coming back from a 3-1 deficit to beat the Spurs in the conference finals in 1979. I was in a funk for quite a while after that.

I don't think they lost because of the refs, but the 5 questionable offensive foul calls against them in the 4th quarter didn't help. Negated was a Ginobili basket and a Leonard 3 pointer. Do you think a 5 point swing would make a difference?
