General Presidential Campaign: Trump vs Hillary

Does the Speaker cast the tiebreaker? If he does, then Trump is toast.

Really? Even after Ryan already voted for Trump?

"I already voted in Janesville for our nominee last week in early voting. We need to support our entire Republican ticket."

"I serve at the pleasure of our members. I feel very good where I am. I think I've done a lot — I've actually kept to my word."

"We're all focused on beating Democrats on November 8. All the rest of this stuff will sort itself out. I'm very confident where I stand with our members."

So the guy who just said all of this today would be the one to go against the Republican nominee he already is on record voting for? Wishful thinking.

See Silver's prediction above for state races if race tightens to 2 pts. By the way, I think we are there already.

It seems like this Huma/Weiner laptop is the missing Clinton email archive?

Will Hillary throw her under the bus over this?

Voting for Trump when he's the only viable alternative to Hillary Clinton is defensible even if that isn't what I chose to do. However, if the election goes to the House, then that will no longer be the dynamic, especially if it reaches the tiebreaker scenario between Trump and McMullen. Choosing Trump when his only viable alternative is a real conservative and when you know your vote is decisive is indefensible, and Ryan knows it. He'd do the right thing. Even if he didn't do it out if principle, he'd do it out of spite.

Could it cost him his speakership? Maybe. He'd still do it. His willingness to take the job was tepid at best anyway.

Here's other scenario I just thought of. Republicans keep the Senate, McMullin takes Utah, and nobody takes a majority in the electoral college. If the House maintains a deadlock between Clinton, Trump, and McMullin, the office of POTUS stays vacant. Pence becomes Veep and, in theory, could serve 4 years as acting president. From Section 3 of the atwentieth Amendment:

If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified;

So Hillary called TPP the "Gold Standard" but stated she reversed her position after reading the details. Not so fast my friend........

This is from this Kadzik person, the political hire at DOJ who they put in charge of making a "thorough" review of the new Huma emails
He is a personal friend of Podesta (who credits Kadzik from 'keeping him out of jail')
Gee, no conflict of interest here
As someone who used to work there, I find this all insane.
In my office, we were off cases if you remotely knew anyone who was a potential party or possibly even just a witness. No questions asked usually, just give it to someone else

Here is Kadzik giving Podesta a heads up in 2015 about Hillary's emails

"New York Police Department detectives and prosecutors working an alleged underage sexting case against former Congressman Anthony Weiner have turned over a newly-found laptop he shared with wife Huma Abedin to the FBI with enough evidence “to put Hillary (Clinton) and her crew away for life,” NYPD sources told True Pundit.

NYPD sources said Clinton’s “crew” also included several unnamed yet implicated members of Congress in addition to her aides and insiders.

The NYPD seized the computer from Weiner during a search warrant and detectives discovered a trove of over 500,000 emails to and from Hillary Clinton, Abedin and other insiders during her tenure as secretary of state. The content of those emails sparked the FBI to reopen its defunct email investigation into Clinton on Friday.

But new revelations on the contents of that laptop, according to law enforcement sources, implicate the Democratic presidential candidate, her subordinates, and even select elected officials in far more alleged serious crimes than mishandling classified and top secret emails, sources said. NYPD sources said these new emails include evidence linking Clinton herself and associates to:
Money laundering
Child exploitation
Sex crimes with minors (children)
Perjury
Pay to play through Clinton Foundation
Obstruction of justice
Other felony crimes

Trump called out Kadzik directly today by name
Glad to see he is being exposed like this, and that his name will be getting kicked around DC today

Damn...this is Eyes Wide Shut come to life. Hillary and Huma have apparently been running a child prostitution ring using the Clinton Foundation as a front and leveraging HRC's role in the State Department. I can't wait to see where this leads.

Wow! How reliable is this site? Absolutely disgusting if true.

Wow! How reliable is this site? Absolutely disgusting if true.

Let's assume and act like it's true. Then we don't have to worry about the accountability of spreading false information. Two months from now we can all claim truth even if nothing comes of it. We'll simply claim "the media and law enforcement were in the bag" as the reason nothing comes of it which will allow us to continue to spread the conspiracy theory. Who's with me?

Still sticking with attack the messenger, ignore the message?

Bottom line -- anyone who votes in this election without first reading the Wikileaks material is willfully ignorant.

Still sticking with willful ignorance to accuracy of information? Does it make sense that HRC is tied to pedophilia which is what that blog post blatantly states? I get it, you don't care whether it's accurate or not but rather a means to an end. I35 and Horn2761(SP?) will be trumpeting that in 2 months time as if it's been proven while you move onto your next hit and run crazy conspiracy theory.

There is so much valid criticisms of HRC to focus on I'm not sure why the sensationalsim is needed but then again it may come with the candidate you support.

No, that blog and Wikileaks are two diff things
Reading comprehension do matter

I get why you won't defend the content of which you chose to post. I'm sure somewhere deep down inside even you know how crazy the conspiracy theory sounds.

Your headfake to Wikileaks and my "reading comprehension" is about as transparent as Donald Trumps claim of respect for women.
