General Presidential Campaign: Trump vs Hillary

These people are a never-ending source of amusement

Apparently Hillary people are now blaming Huma for the loss. Is this true Hillary people here?

A Vanity Fair "informant" said Huma “enjoyed being a celebrity too much.” They are saying she “suffocated” Clinton and “reinforced all the bad habits,” which kept Clinton from connecting with voters.

Are you Clintonistas buying this?

I do not. Staying married to The Wiener did not help, no doubt. But, to me, this all just smells like more excuse-making, avoidance and denial from the Clintons. It is the same story as blaming Comey, or Russia, or Assnage, or the media (lol) for the loss. It is delusional. The root problem was the Clintons themselves. It was always the Clintons

Despite earlier claims, it appears turnout was up in 2016 over 2012
And a healthy increase too
Usually takes ~6 weeks to get final counts

Yet still down from 2004 and 2008 per their own metrics. Man, Obama has to look back on his 2008 election victory with regret on how he squandered the political capital.

Detroit (Wayne County) Election Officials found 782 more votes than voters in Detroit

Uhm, not quite. From your source:

Most of those overages were by small amounts — on average about 3 votes — with the largest being 12 votes in a single precinct. Those small numbers, which add up to 782 total spread out across more than 200 precincts, tend to point to human or machine malfunction as the culprit, rather than widespread fraud.

In 158 precincts, the number of ballots tabulated by the optical-scanning voting machines was inexplicably less than the number of people who signed in to vote. At least 362 ballots were not counted in those precincts, even though the voters had been listed in poll books.

There were 782 over-votes and 362 under-votes, for a total of 420 more votes cast than ballots picked up. That is still a problem that needs to be fixed, but the fact that the errors went both ways makes it extremely unlikely that there was cheating involved.

By the way, this validates my earlier guesstimate of 500 net over-votes:

By the way, here's how I guesstimate 500 overvotes -- 400ish precincts have overvotes and 200ish precincts have undervotes. Wash the 200 out against each other, leaving a net of 200 precincts with overvotes. With the overvotes ranging from 1 to 5 votes, but with 1 being the most common, I pegged the mean at around 2.5 per precinct, or 500 total. (If anyone has seen anything more concrete than this, I'd love to see it. I readily admit that I'm just guessing/guesstimating).

What if all the overs were Ds while all the unders were Rs?
Wasn't the difference in Florida '00 just 537 votes?
Conclusion? it matters.

In terms of voter fraud, Detroit is the same class as Philly and Chicago, cities with huge Democrat Party Machines.

When confronted with a "what if", reasonable people call for investigation and unreasonable people leap to conclusions.

Reasonable in terms of voting would mean --
-- purging the voter rolls of the dead,
-- not giving illegal immigrants drivers licenses,
-- not allowing the Black Panthers to patrol in front of the entry to polling places,
-- not allowing felons to vote,
-- not allowing preachers/ministers to be given "walking-around money" to 'get the vote out," and
-- giving prison time to proven cheaters like ACORN (and not simply letting them reform under a new name).

Some good stuff in there --

"Hillary Clinton’s post election celebration plans included hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of fireworks, live performances by various celebrities, such as Cher, who came believing that Hillary was going to win the election, a five-hundred-thousand-dollar special effect glass ceiling that she would break through in a dramatic display once she walked out on stage at her H.Q., among millions of dollars worth of other celebratory preparations, all paid for by the Clinton Foundation in full....."

Reads like a Hollywood script --

".... The most notable damage was located deep in the VIP room of the Clinton camp. A custom 150 inch ultra HD TV, a gift from the Saudi Arabian government, was found with a broken screen. The damage was caused by a $950,000 bottle of champagne that was believed to have been thrown at the screen by the former presidential candidate some time during the election....."

"...... The most telling sign of a massive meltdown was the cake. The pastry that had once proudly displayed the presidential seal, was violently flung against the walls in chunks. A broken topper from the cake in the shape of the white house was discovered lodged firmly into the drywall near the dessert table....."

Not exactly. Those vote discrepancies come from the precincts that were recounted.

Sorry Charlie.

The recount only started on 534 precincts (out of 1680 total precincts).
Of the 534 precincts for which the recount was attempted, 128 precincts could not be counted because of voter signatures not equaling number of ballots.

Of the remaining 406 precincts that could be counted, the vote was off by 1144 (782 over and 362 under).

The real question concerning voter fraud is in the 128 precincts that could not be counted, as well as the remaining precincts that had discrepancies from the 1100 or so precincts for which the recount never started.

As of now, your guesstimate remains invalid, and the strong possibility of fraud remains.

That article reads like fake news. A $950,000 bottle of champagne? It's a good story though so let's assume it's true.

Liberals coming unglued out there --

Ivanka Trump just had a bumpy start to her Xmas holiday ... an out-of-control passenger on her flight began verbally berating her and "jeering" at her 3 kids.

Ivanka was on a JetBlue flight leaving JFK Thursday morning with her family when a passenger started screaming, "Your father is ruining the country." The guy went on, "Why is she on our flight. She should be flying private." The guy had his kid in his arms as he went on the tirade.

A passenger on the flight tells TMZ Ivanka ignored the guy and tried distracting her kids with crayons.

JetBlue personnel escorted the unruly passenger off the flight. As he was removed he screamed, "You're kicking me off for expressing my opinion?!!"

BTW ... Ivanka, her family and bunch of cousins were all in coach.

8:35 AM PT -- JetBlue just released a statement, saying, "The decision to remove a customer from a flight is not taken lightly. If the crew determines that a customer is causing conflict on the aircraft, the customer will be asked to deplane, especially if the crew feels the situation runs the risk of escalation during flight. Our team worked to re-accommodate the party on the next available flight."

7:48 AM PT -- The husband of the unruly passenger tweeted an hour before the plane took off, "Ivanka and Jared at JFK T5, flying commercial. My husband chasing them down to harass them."
