Sam just isn't himself. But Herman keeps putting him in these stupid situations. The one time you bring Bijan in on that series you run him through traffic out wide. This is just sickening
 
Sam just isn't a NFL QB. He probably comes back but I don't think he is an elite college QB either. He manages most games but really makes bonehead decisions at key moments.

Dicker gets him out of his last bad mistake.

And then he runs out of bounds for a 4 yard loss when he had space to throw it out of bounds instead. Argh.

And then he gets clobbered by 2 guys before he even has time to look at his first option. Double argh.

He had time to get rid of that ball on 3rd down. You don't take a sack there. He holds the ball too long. Cost us a tie against ISU. Could have cost us there. He has to understand we are starting freshman on the line and he can't hold the ball. It's called situational awareness.
