Norman Borlaug is the biggest contributor to mankind in the last 100 years and you've never heard of him.

His invention has been credited with saving the lives of more than 245 million people. The real number is probably much higher. Dwarf wheat.

This thread has been in the back of my mind since I read it. Bullzak's list is particularly strong because he numbers the WHO team that eradicated small pox. That's the spirit.
