Florida linebacker: 'OU is not on our level'

Oh yeah -4 Florida players quit And then the rest of the team followed suit. Just like Commanches.

Boomer!

that okie qb you guys have looked pretty good.
Thompson, that names rings a bell. Where have I heard it?

Bubba when I saw Casey commit, I’m like No Way this kid sticks with UT.
How did this happen? All State OK QB , Sooner Dad - still puzzles me.

When you give up 435 yds on the ground you got punched in the face and curled up like a baby doll. Receivers weren't on D. Your 2nd team D shouldn't give up 435 yds on the ground. OU's top 2 backs based on carries averaged 10 and 12 yds a carry. Florida played like a bunch of girls regardless of who was in there. It was like OU was playing Rice or someone.
Hey calm down and give them a break. They were let down about not making the playoffs. They weren't motivated by such an inferior opponent. :whiteflag:

I find it very ironic that after years of belittling the Big XII for playing no defense, the SEC finally adopted the offenses most Big XII teams run and the same thing has happened in the SEC: high scoring games. Yet the consensus among the media is that the SEC still plays better defense than the other conferences. Truth is, if you have a good QB (and the Big XII has more than most) these offenses are tough to defend.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not criticizing the SEC. It is a good conference. But they aren't that much different than the other Power 5s.
From what we've seen here in the B12, I'm inclined to agree with you. You need NFL-caliber defensive players in EVERY position to really be effective against the top tier Big 12 offenses in order to truly shut them down and dominate.

Except that ISU....

If anything his time at OU probably made his son less likely to choose that place, not more.

Probably had more to do with the fact that his brother, Kendal, committed and signed with OU as a QB and never could get on the field. He transferred to Utah and didn’t see much playing time there either.

His dad actually turned his life around and has also mended his relationship with OU.
