FERGIE

But aggy will still win half time.

Goofy headwear and outfits. Who do they think they are, Kiss?

Gotta be the worst half-time show in memory. This is really lame. Between this and CA and the anthem - who books the talent for the SB? Hopefully someond different next year.

Put me down in the lamest half time show department. Of course my ultimate halftime show would be Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jimi Hendrix, and SRV.

They need to bring in someone for the older generation (the people actually paying for the tickets and going to the SB) like they did when the Rolling Stones played at halftime.

Great twitter and facebook updates about the half time:

OnionSports: "The Vienna Philharmonic was originally to perform but refused, saying the Black Eyed Peas are the world's best band "

Jim Rome : "Slash, you are so much better than this. At least I thought you were. Why are these guys allowed 20 mins?"

Jim Rome:" Are they going drop ZZ Top out of the sky next?"

Jim Rome: "It's official: This is now longer than the first half itself. Where's the Prince stage dive?"

Chip: "Is this the SB halftime show stepping out after turning it over to a bunch of old white guys following Janet's boob?"

my personal favorite by a friend of mine

"This year's halftime show brought to you by AutoTune, LiteBrite, and the producers of Tron."

I 2nd that it should had been ZZ Top. I'd also would have thrown in Willie Nelson and Jerry Jeff Walker. There's nothing Texan about The Black Eyed Peas. Also, for the National Anthem, it should have been LeAnn Rimes.

Not going to satisfy many on this one. You got millions of people with a variety of tastes watching. Whoever you think would be better, someone else will think that that would be worse.

See, i think a double bill of the Wavves and Best Coast would have been a better choice.

It is what it is.. not worth getting upset about.

you want Texans?.. The Butthole Surfers would have been very entertaining at halftime. Daniel Johnston would have been perfect for the National Anthem.

Dude, you guys are harsh... For a live peformance, it was pretty darn good. The production itself was excellent, from the dancers on the field who marched around and danced with the changing colored suits, to the multi-piece stage that moved and changed into the word love, to the cameos of Slash and Usher. I thought those were brilliant and kept the audience on their toes. I kept wondering who was gonna come next.

The costumes the Peas wore were strange, but not that ridiculous. They actually sang live, no lip syncing, so it wasnt going to be absolutely perfect, and the medly of songs was pretty seamless. Very good arranging on that.

Im not sure what you people were expecting, but this was a much, much better overall than last year. I like The Who, but this was a better production value.

Not sure what some of you are looking at. Dont like the actual music? Fine. But the production was outstanding. There were many, many things that could have gone wrong, but didnt.

I think there was something wrong with the sound system. You could tell it was being adjust while they were singing. One second you couldn't hear, then the next it was really loud then back to not being able to hear it again. I'm not sure the people behind the scenes ever got it right.
