someone from the Everman community needs to get us an address or account for funds.....money is needed and will be needed for the long term...I don't know Corey or live in that area but I do know he needs some help--surely some Texas Exes can help out this young man......

ttt...there are tons of longhorns that can afford high priced tickets, luxury boxes, travel etc....surely we can help a child out in a tough situation......open up your pocketbook this holiday season knowing there is no financial return...just knowing you did something for someone in peril.....

Coach Shipley and the Burnet CISD also set up a fund at a local bank. You can get donation info by calling (512) 756-6193.

I was at the game and the thing that pains me so much is that Corey made a great play and did everything by the book. It is a shame that this happened despite doing things properly. I'll help as much as I can and I will continue to pray for Corey and his family.

I can't imagine what he's going through. My thoughts and prayers are with him. Makes you put everything in perspective especially around the holiday season.

God speed.

Man, you think you are struggling through some tough times until you read about something like this. I cannot imagine what they are all going through now. I will certainly be praying for all concerned, and pass along this prayer request. I will also send what I can to help the family out. I teach a Wednesday night children's class at church. It might be a good project for them to do some cards and letters to the Fullbright family.
Praying for you now, Corey.

SoonerOne...
That would be awesome if you could get those kids to do that. If people are not able to donate money, which I know is tough for a lot of folks during the holidays, cards and letters would be uplifting I think.

If everyone of us would donate whatever you can and send a card and PRAY. This family is first on my list this year. Are there any younger children in Corey's family? If so, they definitely need some help also.

I know that the Burnet Booster Club has also set up a fund in his name with Wells Fargo Bank. The account is as follows:
Corey Fullbright Fund
% Burnet Booster Club
Account #2294928672
If you have questions about the fund, please contact NIta Milliorn (344-7975) or Donna Cunningham (344-7977), at the Burnet Wells Fargo Branch.

Anybody know a way to donate online? I'm sure donations would be increased if there's an easy way to click a link and enter a credit card number.

mynametaken...I'm not sure about on-line donations.....I'll ask the bank in Everman and see if they know anything and get back on here if they do. Thanks Hornfans...I told some Everman people about this gesture on Hornfans and they couldn't believe it!!!!! This young man and his family are in for tough times but he has many many friends and a strong faith....Remember those prayers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know where or if this kid is planning on attending college? If he's planning on going I'd like to know where.

I just want to say thanks to those on this board who posted the information to help Corey and his family. Not only the financial info, but the info about sending cards and letters to him while in the hospital. With all the arguing and sarcasm on this board, it is enjoyable to see hornfans caring about one who is not part of the burnt orange family.

KK..nothing really new at this point......the town is rallying around this young man as well as many areas from around the state......As an Everman alum, I can't heap enough praise on the city of Burnet and all that they are doing from fundraising to the all important prayer vigil the town is having today. As far as a physical update...the hospital hasn't really released anything new. Everman is having a BBQ benefit Saturday afternoon if anyone is interested.
