ESPN College Pickem Season -Hornfans group

After a couple of strong weeks and then some real clunkers, I came back this week. Colorado, Notre Dame and Florida helped me vs the group. Stupid ending to liberty/va tech cost me 7pts though

I dropped 6 percentage points down to 85 percent. Only scored 20. I did manage to get the top two spots. I got only 3 games right out of nine.

Second week in a row I've lost a spot while sleeping....
Maybe I should stay up??
Clemson dropped me from 2nd to 3rd place on that late-in-the-game fail to hold 'em.
That VaTech late loss bit me, too LHASB.
Oh well.. I'm thankful to be where I am after that slate. Fun log jam here with little separation between.

I was glad I moved Notre Dame to max points but regret not moving Liberty higher than I had them...

Still hate picking straight up though...
 
SMU game hurt me. Had it as my 9pts game. other than that not a bad weekend. Stayed in #11. Ya'll in the top scored some good pts this weekend! Good Job!

If my calculations are correct, you nailed every game.
I had a real nice late afternoon and early evening -and was briefly in the 1 spot even- and you overtook me. I had Oregon at 7pts...where did you?
I lost 3 pts on Stanford in a close one.
All I know is it's a fun, tight competition.

It's a tough year for picking but you're holding strong.. And I appreciate your spirit for competition and sportsmanship. Does this make us athletes??

:lmao: I haven't been an athlete since HS and even that is suspect!

I took a chance on SMU I took good chances last week and was hoping for a clean sweep again. No biggie though I still did good. Its a blast playing!
 
I put up a respectable 29 pts and dropped from 2nd to 3rd. Since my money and son go to Purdue, i picked them over Northwestern. That hurt me
 
Purdue is 1 QB away from being Indiana. Korvath is a Beast RB.
I think we have had 5-6 different leaders this year...maybe more. Definitely hard to hold!

I had Oregon at 7 as well. I had Miami at 8 which almost bit me lol

Yeah...I had a couple near misses including that UM...and Oregon started slow, too.....but it seems like they do that a lot. Ultimately I only lost points on Penn State and Stanford...both close losses I considered pick 'ems

Well you're still doing great..you've been at or near the top all season.
And I always find NU and Purdue both hard to pick....so especially with them playing each other...

Very Impressive Badass! I was watching your picks late to see what I could pick up on you and realized you were going to put up 8 for 8. Hope you were in Vegas with those picks!
 
You guys are amazing! I've cooked my goose but it is still fun. I cannot believe that last year I actually led for a few early weeks - jeez how you pick them I'll never understand.

They decided to eff around and hope people would find out where things got moved to...they did the same with two of the NFL contests.

And on an unrelated note...that GAS/Army game was a hose job. Army should not have been allowed to remain in the dog pile without a whistle being blown. FG was far from certain, but refs took the game out of the control of GaS.

Don't feel bad...books loved the outcome because a lot of square action was apparently on Wisky. That is the sort of game that takes out lots of parlays in addition to the ML and spread bets. Too many people bet the reputation and not what little they saw of either team thus far in 2020...
 
Found it.

Blew 7 and 8 pt games....I picked Liberty and Wisky. Still ending up with 39 pts and moved up 2 spots to #9...grindin
 
Lots of double digit favorites this week. There are upsets every week but this week is going to be tougher to figure out where those dogs are sleeping ...

Gained a couple pts but still looking at your butt. I'm tired of seeing it.

Whole 'nother ball game there.... would destroy the fassad that some of us are good at this. :)
I don't think I'd fare too well with spreads involved.
