I finished at 96 percent
I may have been in a different group. I finished at 8985, I think.
 
Man, what fun this year. After being ahead the first few weeks 8 decided to start looking up the teams and their record having just guessed first 4-5 weeks. Reckon that was a mistake :whiteflag: but have to say I am in awe of anyone getting 100% correct in any week :bow:. Congrats Steve!!!

Thanks so much everyone! It was a hard fought victory. And I did it without ever picking against the Longhorns - although I did put a couple of the Longhorn games in the "1" (i.e. lowest) confidence slot.

I only wish that Texas's season could have finished as well as this. Although I realize they have to work a little bit harder than I do - sitting at my computer reading articles and looking at stats.

Any manner of successful sports-betting or handicapping gets in the way of being a fan or vice-versa. The simple reality is that the CORRECT play is necessarily going to involve some occasions in which you have to go against 'your team.'

I've run into this same thing with a partner I took on for the Circa contest. She absolutely refuses to take anyone against the Texans even when (as with this past weekend) it was the smart play. So, the games involving the Texans are essentially removed from discussion. This is one of the reasons I will NOT be taking on a partner in the contest next year. I would be close to top-10 if I was the only one tasked with selections instead of being six or seven points out of the money with three weeks to go.
 
I (for the first time) signed up and made my first picks for Bowl Mania under the fans of Hornfans group. I know how to rank my picks so my least confident picks are at the bottom. I put Texas pretty high up there but not too high!

My name for our group is ESPN Fan. It auto filled that for me. I had AC as my name, anyway, 6th place so far. I had a lot of points on Ok State to beat A&M. Oh well.
 
Yeah, I jumped all the way to 4th yesterday then I sadly picked Utah last night for a lot of points. That pretty much hosed me. I think I'm 5th now, but I think I may drop a lot today.
